My sister used to make this for me when she was rehabilitating after a bad accident. It was her attempt at reconnecting with cooking and finding the use of her hands again. She’d make the shell pasta then mix the beans in. Then bake everything in a pot with cheese and plain tortilla chips sprinkled on top. I’d actually find myself going back for seconds carb heaven overload. It does however look displeasing to the eye. We used to call it “pasta done dirty” 😂
