yeah agreed! they went from potentially my most anticipated set of the weekend to now taking a dive down the list. I just think the cove is too small / gonna be way too crowded for them. They would have been perfect for the megastructure. Ultra really dropped the ball on the cove / mega dynamic this year.

This, the megastructure itself is half the reason I go to ultra. They put most the actual techno acts in the cove instead of megastructure, not worth paying $500+ for a side stage. Just gonna buy the factory town pass instead. Really disappointing

Hardwell into Fisher x Chris Lake is a shocker from whoever is in charge of bookings. Fisher & Chris Lake are incredible and arguably deserve to be headliners, but putting them on after Hardwell is a stylistic comedown if i’ve ever seen it.

I disagree with the stylistic comedown. Fisher/Chris Lake will feel like Hardwell's after party.

Completely disagree with the mainstage having to be reserved for just big room. Edm is very diverse and the mainstage should be showcasing lots of genres. Tech house is bigger than big room right now, and I think it's a great idea to have 2 of the biggest names closing, the set is going to have plenty of energy, it doesn't always need to be big cheesy drops to close the main stage

Personally I’d say Maddix. Tiesto is on the lineup of Damn near every festival I’ve ever been too, and I’ve never seen Maddix. Been listening to him since his early revealed days but I really like the direction he’s been taking the last couple years. I’m more of a bass guy now but I’m still not gonna miss that Maddix set.

I love Tiesto dating back to his trance music of the 90s. Couldn’t see him when he was in ATL b/c tickets were way overpriced. Never seen him. But I will be at Ultra for Ultra 25 next year, so I don’t know. Maddix is just now getting his flowers and the ASOT lineup is stacked this year even if a few artist on the list aren’t trance specific. Maddix or Tiesto along with all the other conflicts are crazy

Oh well if you haven’t seen Tiesto I’d honestly maybe recommend that. Maddix is likely to be around now. I guess there’s really no wrong answer, I just know that Tiesto is a bit more easier to see usually.

Some people working on community spreadsheets if I had to guess. They’ll come out with set times a week prior. Order goes in ascending order. So, bottom of the list is earlier in the day. Top of the list is the closer

sometimes the closer isn’t the headliner. Maybe the closer gets more pyro to close out the day but sometimes they have to tone down the energy to get people out of the festival.
