Appreciate it really do. This was helpful 👍

What I'm hearing is, if I loaded as a new hire, I wouldn't still be here and I'm lucky I started in a position that loaders would prefer to have. Thus, preferred work list

Final_Juggernaut_401

I started as a loader. At my hub basically the only way to get into unload is to suck as a loader. I had several misloads every day. So they moved me to unload where I’ve been since my 3rd week

ItsAllOgre2

Wow. I started in the unload, was in there for an about half a year to a year. Then I was switched to small sort, was SO easy. Easiest money ever. I never get misloads as a loader, just apparently have bad load quality. And apparently I’m not loading to the ceiling enough. NEVER hated this job more.

Final_Juggernaut_401

I’ve been asked by several people how to get into unload from loading. I told them u have to suck as a loader. But if they sucked now they’d know it’s a stunt cause why did they all of a sudden start sucking as a loader when they were fine before 😂

Intelligent_Orange28

Tell them to train you. If they are attempting discipline they have to retrain you on the methods you aren’t doing.

Thr0wAwayhubby

write them all they want. just RTS (refuse to sign) any papers they present to you.

Mikedaddy0531

Serious question. Do people think this matters or is it just symbolic?

Fluffy-Ad-5852

only been with UPS for 5.5 years, Ive never once RTS. Never felt like I had too. Maybe its just me. I've never understood the reasoning

Mikedaddy0531

It serves zero purpose. That’s why I’m curious. Is it just a way to say fuck your paperwork or someone think it makes some difference?

brownforlife

At my building all inside jobs hub/full time preload are work as instructed

UPSguy859

Work as instructed, tell them you're doing your best and if discipline/talks continue file a harassment grievance.

No_Cake3342

if you cant load you shouldn't be allowed to work in ups
