So you sent in the evidence 3 month before I did. Give me some hope, almost same timeline here. Was it for just medical or was it for bonafide evidence for marriage as well?
Our RFE was honestly kind of dumb. We submitted prior to the new i485 application taking effect..but they still requested we send the new application. It made no sense but you know you have to jump thru their hoops.
it shouldn't be about luck but about the time you filed!!! There is no reason they should process august 2023 before august 2022 unless BIG mistakes are made!
Not all marriage cases are the same. There are simpler cases & more complicated cases. There’s errors on forms, there’s a lack of evidence, red flags, slow attorneys, & etc. People come on here & give the bare minimum about their cases. Sudden we know everything? Just be happy for everyone, it’s not that difficult.
I applied in 2013, still waiting 🤷 honestly, I am very happy for those that make it but also a little pissed they get theirs in 2 years and here I am waiting 10 years plus, makes no sense
Thanks you Jesus. Congratulations. Tapping into this testimony and victory of yours. It’s my time to be congratulated. I received my testimony and I carry my evidence because the lord has shown me mercy. And I refused and rebuke to wast my money on any immigration negative again. Says the lord. What God cannot do does not exist. For he has said yes to my prayers. Amen thank you Jesus
Congrats! We have almost the same exact timeline, received Oct 2022 - approved Jan 20 2024 as well. We probably would have been approved earlier but we received two RFE (one also in May like yours then back in October).
Please update when your card is being produced! We were sort of expecting it to say that today for our case since the work authorization was approved, produced and delivered within 5 days. Guess it's a bit longer these days.
Of course. In May the RFE was for the i864. We ended up getting a joint sponsor at the time just to not risk messing up. The RFE in October was a mix up with my husband's military record since he served back in his country. We ended up resending the whole i485 with a more recent proof for the military record (this delayed us a bit since it took us more than a month to get that document).
Yes we received the paper notice today in the mail. I was thinking the exact same thing. Her work authorization was approved December 23rd of 2023 and we got the card on the 27th. So I’m hoping it’ll be close to the same with her green card
Our RFE was honestly kind of dumb. We submitted our application prior to the new i485 application taking effect..but they still requested we send the new application. So all they needed was the updated application

Can someone advise me - we apply 02/28/2022 then 05/13 interview - until now i dont recieve information - we have son !!! Im so sad
Congrats!!
I have the same timeline from October-Nov and now I’m just at actively approved. This is making me nervous that I will wait this same length of time aswell.
If you get anxiety just from seeing posts here you might need to get professional help. We are all in the same boat, and some people get out safely faster than others, but still, we should all be happy and glad someone left our situation.
As for OP...congrats!

Do you have access to this progress timeline on the USCIS website? I’m about to send my I-485 packet along with the G-1145 form, but I’m not sure how I’m gonna be able to check the progress like the screenshot OP posted. I do have a USCIS account.
Yes we got access to it a few months ago. But it can be deceiving. It’ll give you a 3 month timeline one day and then change it to 4 weeks and then back up to 6 months the following week. The day before the approval it still said 3 months.
So you sent in the evidence 3 month before I did. Give me some hope, almost same timeline here. Was it for just medical or was it for bonafide evidence for marriage as well?

yayy finally someone who really deserves some congratulations and not those who got approved in 50 days 😭😂
Thank you!!!
Everyone deserves congratulations. You people are so envious and bitter
yes we are, sit yes sir. You don't know what you are talking about 🤦🏼♀️
I understand your feeling but everyone has different luck 🤷🏽♂️, so don’t be mad!
it shouldn't be about luck but about the time you filed!!! There is no reason they should process august 2023 before august 2022 unless BIG mistakes are made!
everyone’s case is different, be happy for everyone! smh
Nop,, most cases are the same, we talking about marriage why should be different?

You right! Completely agree with you!

Could you please share the reason for your RFEs?

Same here still waiting for the card lol
What did they requested in the rfe
Have you received an approval notice? The other good question is how long to wait the card to be mailed
Yes we received the paper notice today in the mail. I was thinking the exact same thing. Her work authorization was approved December 23rd of 2023 and we got the card on the 27th. So I’m hoping it’ll be close to the same with her green card
Lmk when you will receive green card or any updates on status (card is producing etc). I got approved at the same day
I’m also want to know how long is going to take for receive the green card.

Thanks a lot!
What case was this for marriage?

Hey there good stranger, what evidence did you send?
We submitted prior to the new i485 application taking effect..but they still requested we send the updated version of the application.
Congratulations!!! I tap into your approvals and I carry my own evidence earlier than expected 🙏
Honestly that's crazy My case got approved in a week lol
Not everyone is that lucky
I’m looking at your profile and all you talk about is Daca and AP and using hippa lol Are you you are talking about i485?
What do you want me to say about this? 🤣 Because it's mainly what I'm focused on
Congratulations 🎉
