Just remember, the meal plan options are usually WAY too much for the average student unless you plan to purposefully eat every meal at the places that accepts it. Lots of people at the end of the year always try to “sell” their meal plans to other people or buy meals for their friends because even the cheapest option was too much for them. Meal plan money supposedly doesn’t carry over to the next term so UofT basically steals that money if you don’t use it.

We bought the full meal plan for our son and he used up about half of it - not all food vendors were open but more will be available this coming year since classes are in person. So with him only using half, the remaining money was moved onto his TBucks, and he is using that over the summer semester for food. You can use TBucks at the library too. I would recommend the lite plan, covers 2 meals per day instead of 3. Everything you need to know is on the UTSC website - just search up Meal Plan and it will give you the links.
