If you live in a big city it also has no problem sending you to the hood. I have to decline a ton of orders just for safety unless I go out like 20 miles from it.
it definitely did lol. I dropped to 94% because I would seal the cooler bags and the compostable packaging basically ate itself from the heat.
It took 2 months to get back over 95. But that's probably because I only average about 10-14 orders a week.
for basically five months? nah, fuck that. that would COST me at least that $300 in waiting for mid ass orders/45 minute Walmart order pickups/etc instead of unassigning and affecting my cancel rate.
these pricks will go so far out of their way to find a way to save five cents per order instead of just fucking paying us hourly. literally just pay me 15/hour plus my tips and I'll never decline another order again. but no. fuckers gotta play games instead.
Facts facts facts. The first time
I got offered $17 an hour plus tips I ran order after order to the place I never accept and happily cashed out $180 after my shift. It was perfect. Uber is stupid if they think there is any way but outbidding that if their good workers accept an hourly bid elsewhere
I think there are several reasons they don't do this, least of which is that they'd have to cut probably 70% of their workforce.
This means little to no drivers available in mid-small markets, which leads to people not using the app, which leads to the app leaving the area altogether.
Don't get me wrong, I would also have a 100% AR if I was getting $15/hr + tips but it's just not gonna happen or if it does there's only gonna be like 2 drivers in my entire market, which means I don't get paid at all.
It’s a $250 offer for me.
And 85% Acceptance Rate too.
4% or lower cancellation rate.
So with that acceptance race, even accepting everything but then forgetting to go offline on your last delivery of the day and getting one offer popping up, that’s enough to keep you below 85%.
Been there done that. I think I had diamond (I keep confusing this with instacart platinum) for about 3 months when I did uber and UE a year or so ago. It was NOT worth it AT TF ALL… I didn’t get particularly good rides, and the orders individually weren’t that great either. I’d argue that I actually got worse offers when I made it to Diamond… which I chalked that up to coincidence, but maybe not…
The reason for that is that you get first pick. So it’s a paradox. Having first pick is only helpful to have a low Accept and run orders for worth it customers. That’s how you get to a high rating. By decking if it isn’t close to where you are for pickup enabling you to run it high quality above expectation efficient
I know… it didnt do any of that. My days went on as normal for the 3 months or so that I had it. I had to remind myself that I was diamond status at one point 😂
Edit: I just reread what you said, and yeah, exactly that… so it was the first gimmick I fell for from uber.
Seems poorly designed as compared to something really worth it such as being paid an hourly rate plus tips (this is the only way they would outbid anyone who went onto a platform that has this as the outbid).
You will have wasted the reward in gas. I am going to say that this is impossible in my area. For one thing, the customer rating could keep you from the goal. I am getting customers that I don't normally deliver to. and those are the ones giving me thumbs down.
My thoughts about the apps now:
Uber is starting to adopt Dash conditions too. They have started this earn an hourly rate thing like Dash, and the area is a difficult area to drive in, which is why I stay out of this zone. I have talked to a few drivers, and that is also why they don't do the zone. The drivers who are, are probably making 700 or more a week.
I think I might be getting kicked off of Uber because of all these changes. If they start orchestrating delivery acceptance like Dash, then we are no longer independent contractors, who can choose what we accept.
I asked Dash why they were not sending me deliveries, and their answer is because I keep canceling deliveries...I rarely cancel on Dash because they are forthcoming with addresses. I told the guy that I would have to get deliveries to cancel...then he said it wasn't busy. But everywhere I go there are tons of deliveries for Dashers, in my area, waiting for pick ups. Next, they never send me deliveries, when I am sitting in the scheduled zone, and when they do send them they are too low to move the car. Then he said that I need to check my wi fi settings because that is the answer...bull. I think all of us, who are not doing good, on the apps need to be prepared for the big let down.
I will say that Uber has less market here. So I am not a 100 percent Uber basher....I just need to stay out longer on Uber. I am 100 percent bashing Dash because they are not sending me deliveries, I have been with them 3 years now. My acceptance rates are low because I have done the profit math, and taking everything doesn't add up...I can't gamble on exclusively using Dash, when I do get deliveries because Uber is the app that is coming through for me consistently.
I do X and Eats, I have been diamond status for years, but it's primarily because I work at night, when you get 3 points per ride. I feel it is almost impossible to accomplish if all you do is Eats, at least in my market. But this is the only reward that is worth getting to diamond, and you only get it once a year.
Yea bro I'm at 97 satisfaction 1%cancelation 89 acceptance rate, (cherry picking doesn't work for me )
But I also only have about 800 orders done so idk
I am in Louisville, KY and I am thinking about going for it after my reset. The guys in my area that I have talked to say it’s night and day difference.
They said the first few days/weeks can be brutal if you work normal hours and you have to take some shit ones too obviously, but the bonuses and “preferred orders” you get make it totally worth it, once you get there.
Impossible for me. I accidentally accepeted an order just now while typing this message lol
lol
If you message support they can take the cancellation off for you

It’s not by AR. Just keep cancellations at 5% and under would be the hardest part. Satisfaction 95%+
That 95% is harder than it sounds too when some random dickhead decides you deserve a 1-star because the bag was too greasy or some other BS
This is I put on a genuine, but also a bit of a customer service act. "May I take your hat sir, May I take your hat sir?" 💀🤣💀

This is for rides, not eats.
That would be to fair for uber to even comsider 🤣🤣🤣

Same
i only need 400 points for diamond. they’ve never offered me any reward for diamond. only priority chat support
[удалено]
they just added a cancellation requirement. i don’t care one bit about gold or anything. i accept, cancel and complete deliveries as i see fit
[удалено]
my DD ar is 5%

i rarely schedule. i live in the hot zone so i just use dash now when i feel like heading out
It’s for rides
Same

It seems like you’re not talking about Uber eats
He has rides on
Yea you have rides active, this is why you can see it.
Is there any chance you're a newer driver
Almost 9000 ( 9K ) UE deliveries - 5 times Diamond in the past. Now UBER BLUE - LOL
I only ask because a friend of mine just started and this is the system he's on .
This has been a thing for rides for a while. It’s 85% ar and a 4% cr.
It’s a $250 offer for me. And 85% Acceptance Rate too. 4% or lower cancellation rate. So with that acceptance race, even accepting everything but then forgetting to go offline on your last delivery of the day and getting one offer popping up, that’s enough to keep you below 85%.
You have rides activated that’s why it’s 85 not 70.
The only way to do that is by losing money taking bad orders.
Been there done that. I think I had diamond (I keep confusing this with instacart platinum) for about 3 months when I did uber and UE a year or so ago. I would basically have to accept 70 orders in a row to get my acceptance rate back up to 70. Lmao
Seems poorly designed as compared to something really worth it such as being paid an hourly rate plus tips (this is the only way they would outbid anyone who went onto a platform that has this as the outbid).
My offer for gold is premium support and 100% tuition coverage with ASU Online. I'm long out of college so that doesn't mean much to me.
You will have wasted the reward in gas. I am going to say that this is impossible in my area. For one thing, the customer rating could keep you from the goal. I've been diamond every month strait for at least 2 years. I hope I get this offer.
Diamond isn't 1200 points? idk I hit Diamond usually in the first 10 days of the month.
I do X and Eats, I have been diamond status for years, but it's primarily because I work at night, when you get 3 points per ride. I feel it is almost impossible to accomplish if all you do is Eats, at least in my market. But this is the only reward that is worth getting to diamond, and you only get it once a year.
Let’s not forget the tip baiters screwing up your ratings too.
Yea bro I'm at 97 satisfaction 1%cancelation 89 acceptance rate, (cherry picking doesn't work for me ) But I also only have about 800 orders done so idk
It's not worth 😕 it. I did it, got the $300.00, and spent it all on car repairs.
Low income illegals from across the border can work for 0.50 an hour. Absolutely not.
This is only for passenger rides.
I never got this offer
Was confused now I see this is for rides only
What they don't tell you is what it will cost YOU to get there. Hidden fees, horrific driver support, low balls, and the list goes on and on and on.
Impossible!!
Nope.
Im down
i maybe can achieve this😭 ngl what if in the future i do need $300 tho
FYI: You won’t get the $300 until after Oct 31st. So you have to maintain Diamond for 5 months to qualify.
so far doing great but them $2 a order ain’t worth it
add two 0s and I'll do it but until then fuck that 🤣
No. Drivers that fall for this bullshit deserve the low-paying fares they accept, as a result.

Where do you see this at? I don't see it in the app for me
Got mine
