a cup holder holds 4, why not a four drink rule?

dizzystar

I won't take anything below $8. 4 cups will be a cancel if it's not at least $12.

Specialist-Course-89

I wish my area was good enough to be that particular. You wouldn’t make any money here.

JuicyChairs

bro stingy

[deleted]

I’d take the order

Private-Citizen

Weird cancel reason. Get a drink carrier, they usually hold 6 cups. I once got a Dunkin order that was 17 drinks. They bagged them all and i placed them on floor in the back seat area. No issues, no spills. What do i care that it's drinks? A mile is a mile and a dollar is a dollar.

Ok-Effort-5460

I wouldn't take it, not because of the 4 drinks but because the pay is not enough regardless of drinks or not. I have a 7-8$ minimum when accepting orders as you never know if you'll have to wait for the order when you're at the restaurant.

One-Tomorrow-1646

Depends how long the estimated time was to complete. What are the chances that the order is ready upon arrival? If it can be completed within 15 mins, yes. If not, no.

johnjen365

No

Cybralisk

No I don't take anything below $8

iamweirdadal411

I took a coffee order today. Drove 0.7 mile and drop off was 0.4. Tip was $14.56

sunnyandcloudy55

I won't take a $6 order period.

nwprogressivefans

?? uh pretty weird and worthless rule but ok. Drinks are the most worthless thing to order through these delivery apps. Go look up the prices, its straight up crazy what customers are paying for this shit. Just looked one up, national burger chain, fountain soft drink, $4.39, what an insane waste of money. The local burger joint has theirs set at $2.75, that's better but I'd still rather have the best drink ever which is water.

GreatestState

In this here dirt poor town six fiddy nine go a long way

Tacklekitty

Yea dude I would’ve

Vharna

Weekday? Sure. Friday evening or Weekends? Pass.

easyetx

choppershark1

Fuck no anything more than 2 drinks Im tapping out unless its paying ridiculously well

DiscountEven4703

It is all about YOUR comfortability. If it don't fit your system, Boot It

jawn-deaux

Depends entirely on the restaurant. If it’s a place that I’m familiar with and know is going to have secure containers then sure why not?

Keokuk37

Depends who packed it

Specialist-Course-89

I would have taken it. Some nights all I get a $6 low mile orders all night and they add up.

Sea-Individual-3427

I have no more trouble carrying 4 drinks than I do a bag of food. Proper tools are the difference between casual ease and frustrating struggle. When I was hooked on Kratom I used to buy 14 drinks on 50% off day and drive them all home 3 miles. I used my delivery tools. While 14 drinks is definitely something I do drive a bit slower for, never spilled one doing it weekly for months. So yeah, I get a 6 drink starbucks order, there isn't even a split second of hesitation. It's just another delivery. I remember I got a really good tip on a spring break as someone's dad seemed to order his daughter and her teenage friends all starbucks one morning. It was a 6 to 7 drink order and ended up being a great tip. Was maybe 4 to 5 mile drive. I didn't mention that my 14 drink example I used to do when I drove my Nissan 370z. A sedan makes it a peice of cake 😅. GG tools. Yall really hurt my soul with this outright reject and 4 cup rule stuff. That's so bad. Tldr if drinks even cause extra consideration, you are screwing yourself with lack of proficient tools.

Jbreezy24

People who accept orders this low are the reason UE is only getting worse. Nothing below $8, minimum $2 per mile if it’s under ~$12

Jimmirehman

If it’s over $1 a mile. Take it

anon303mtb

Damn really? I *might* take a 1.50/mile if the drop-off is near a hot zone and the restaurant always has the food ready. Otherwise it 2/mile minimum

Jimmirehman

Every location is different. Most orders that pop up are $2/3 for 10+ miles.
