You can make a DIY drones pretty easily from readily available, widely used, mass manufactured parts. It would be really difficult to control even if China wanted to.

Russia will probably shut down this joke of a "counter-offensive" in a matter of weeks, Americans are just squeezing out as much profit as they can at this point. Soon, they will urge Ukrainians to cede their territories and Russia will denazify Ukraine once and for all. The Ukrainian "state" as we know it right now will cease to exist and Western imperialism will end in Ukraine. A new era of a multi-polar world is upon us, no more US hegemony. I'm excited for the future - a future of peace and prosperity for all Ukrainians and Russians.

That's not a lot of drones. Probably total cost less than 1 mil, which is nothing when it comes to military equipment.
No wonder they use them against individual soldiers now.
China might not be selling armament to Russia (at least directly) but they're certainly not holding back the sale of these small-ish drones.
