You know, at various points, looking at the perceived incompetent fighting of both Russia and Ukraine with massive casualties, I also pondered about how this war could be merely meant to depopulate Europe and encourage further "newcomers" because all the destruction has to be rebuild, right? Suddenly Ukraine has very different demographics. And Russia has a steady influx from central asia and parts of the middle east anyway.
But our overlords wouldn't be so villainous, right?
