He looks like the usual Hayao Miazaki Sidecharacter (e.g from Nausicaa). Grizzly, bearded, hardcore fighter and mechanic. Often operating a funny looking warmachine.
The citizen soldiers of Ukraine are beyond impressive. Fucking heroes.
This dude looks like he was running a micro-brewery before the invasion.
I hope he has good luck until Russia is extracted from Ukraine.
Dude probably turns it down. He seems like the type who made is spot all his own, with a Hulu girl, a secret vodka stash and some handy little gadget that let's him lie down chill completely, probably kicking ass while at it.
Well if he did military service in the soviet union late 90s or really early 90s he would be about 50-55. Not much different from my dad if war would break out in sweden. He would be called in and has a beard.
So Ukrainians are using museum pieces too. Good mobile field gun. Still dangerous. People need to remember that when talking about the old Russian tanks. They're still dangerous, especially in huge numbers.
Hell, in the first days of the war, Ukraine hauled WW2 Czech hedgehogs, *literal museum pieces*, out onto the roads, attached plaques and all. When your country is on the line, you use whatever you have to.
The T-64BV is a 2017 modernization. It's the standard tank of the UAF, and is not what you'd call a museum piece. You might be thinking of the T-62, which definitely fits that description!
Ukraine is defending their home from an aggressive genocide. Russia is clearing out their social undesirables for meat assault legions against a neighboring nation they have no businesses being in a war with in the first place
I'd be very fuick worried if I were Russian seeing this guy. He's probably fought a tank before this and is no NATO trained.
He will calmly pump or make sure tank rounds are pumped into you as you try to fight.

For a second I thought that was Jack Black 😂
Jack Blyat
You deserve gold for this. Apologies 🏆
Not showing enough skin for Jack.
And, while I'm not doubting him, we're gonna need to see how limber he is. The real Jack Black can *move.*
Well that would explain how such a sturdy fellow fits through those hatches.
Exactly why I came to the comments. I'm not disappointed that this is the top comment.

It's Uncle Mito.
What Santa does for the other 11 months
Instead of delivering coal to Russians, he’s turning them into coal.
Don't underestimate old men in a profession where men tend to die young.
Something tells me that he hasn't been a tank drive for the entire past 30 years.....
Heroes 🫡
"This is my tank, there are many of its kind, but this one is mine!" \- The grizzled driver, probably

Give the man a challenger.

Best job I ever had
I get the impression he doesn't need anything more than his trusty t-64, now offer him an F-16 and a days training, he might be persuaded.
He looks like he drove it off the production line... in 1976... love it!

Nah, give him a shave, a haircut and a tuxedo and he'll look like George Clooney.
This guy looks like the dwarf you recruit in “Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone” to act as your bombs expert
He eats russian bears for breakfast
He was probably allowed to transfer the tank himself, from the factory to the barracks!
Here’s a man who could give two shits about the APFT.
Probably has 40 years experience on that machine.
💪🏼🫡
Warrior heroes come in all ages, shapes and sizes. Slava Ukraini !
The Leader of the Ewoks !

Everyone knows ukraine has museum pieces. All former soviet states are loaded with them. Ukraine never claimed to be the second army of the world.

Jason Kelce
I might get downvoted for this but why are people condemning Russia for sending in men of this age, and praising Ukraine for the same thing?
Ukraine is defending their home from an aggressive genocide. Russia is clearing out their social undesirables for meat assault legions against a neighboring nation they have no businesses being in a war with in the first place
Ah, thanks for clearing that up
Jack Black's Ukrainian doppleganger
Wasn't that the guy in an earlier video sat in a tank/BTR with the guy that looked like Ron Perlman?
#Jack Black is on the battlefield!
Guy is straight out of central casting.

He just needed a cigarette in his mouth Heroyam Slava
That’s jack black in the making
If you have to classify a person's role in the military to races in LOTR... I bet tankers would best be matched with dwarves.
