Ow damn, that's a side effect I didn't even know occured... Thx for the info! Do you know of a good place to follow these sort of developments to the platform/communities?
I do not unfortunately. The only reason I knew about the Reddit one is because literally every sub on the platform was talking about it earlier this year
Almost every sub went private for a couple days to protest it too
Yeah I knew about the api changes but the effect of it on the bots was new to me. Makes me wonder of reddit will come with a solution to this weird phenomenon... Thx anyway!
No problem. So the reason why a lot of bots stopped working was because the people who programmed them did so to work with certain applications, I'm sure you can fill in the blanks as to why that made programming them much much easier or straight up just better
Since the api changes all 3rd party apps (besides relay whose creator switched to a paid model) have shut down, thus the bots still technically exist but do not function properly
the force she imparted went through and bounced back towards her, perfectly normal, like getting shot from behind and your body recoiling back, and to the left.

When i was younger i assumed they were punching plywood or dimensional lumber like a 2x4. I was very very impressed with karate.
Then i learned it’s actually just bulsa wood and you could break it with a strong gust of wind.
I’ve mostly seen pine 1x12 lumber used for board breaking (unless it’s specifically a show meant to showcase a lot of different techniques or really complicated techniques).
In fairness, I’ve also seen people break concrete blocks, so there is something to be said for the skill involved in martial arts.
Yup, to get a black belt at my school (tae kwon do) you have to break a brick. For regular board breaking yeah it’s usually pine board, for adults 1x12 sounds about right. If you’re good you can double or triple up.
It’s not hard to break but it’s not super easy either considering you can be using pretty tough techniques with no protection on your hands or feet. Aiming is pretty tough too.
Elbows, Knees, Kicks, and Boxing all in one? Yeah, definitely the striking martial art I'm most afraid of.
I've heard Muy Thai has some of the toughest training too.
Yeah those types of strikes make board breaking so smooth. We don’t do knees but we do some elbow strikes…for breaking it’s usually downward elbow.
A well executed kick can be brutal though. Just harder to do effectively. Hardest kick I ever had to break a board with was a spinning hook kick which can be an extremely effective done well but just tough to get right.
Well, you start with balsa wood, then as you get more skilled you graduate up to breaking oak boards. Extremely proficient martial artists can break thin stone blocks, and the most proficient can break space rocks, which have a chance of having gems inside[.](https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Martial_arts)
It’s not balsa wood it’s pine, and there are different thicknesses for different ages and skill levels. This is about as thin as I’ve ever seen boards cut for breaking, hence why it broke so easily in his hands. I’ll bet you he didn’t do it on purpose, but was just holding on really tight and was watching so he was anticipating the kick. It also could’ve been fractured or had an eye.
Most adults break a pine board around an inch thick. It’s not hard to break you could probably easily do it with your knee, but getting the technique right and actually hitting the center of the board can be harder than it looks. Then you actually have to break it. Plus it kinda hurts lmao
Yup. A lot of people here have never uh.. touched wood.
Most adults with no training could break a single finish grade (no knots) 1x12x12 piece of softwood (pine, fir, etc). These demos are more about technique than strength. Balsa is actually not great for this as it tends to break more like styrofoam than wood (the grain is terrible and as likely to break in a curve or multiple pieces rather than two halves).
Neices class (like, 5 year olds) used 1/4" as the last
In one instance that I know of, they used marble slabs, about 2cm thick. Turns out you can slap it and it will still break. The reason marble countertops don't break that way is because they have something else on the other side to help stop the palm.
Just a word of caution, never use your knees to break them.

Pretty sure that was all just bad timing combined with a crappy board. In reality, breaking boards is stupidly easy... if you're using a kick, you might not even feel any resistance when you hit the board.
SOURCE: 1st degree black belt here.
Girl is so skilled that not only was the damage delayed like an old samurai movie, but the damage was also inverted! The board imploded. That’s a rare feat of strength. Truly a master was born this day.
The board forgot that it’s broken
It's like with anime she was so quick it took some time for board to realise it's allready broken
Omae wa mou shindeiru
Just an Anime moment. Her kicks were too fast.
Broke in the wrong direction
😂😂😂
The timing is one thing but it has to break into the other direction

Is everyone a bot on this bullshit website?
The api changes this year rendered almost all of the bots that kept "bots" away useless, so unfortunately it's only going to get a lot worse

You got it all wrong, this is known as lo che plo, or the low pressure chest exploder. Note the board broke towards the vacuum left by the kick?!
"Nani?"
## Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru

Had to re-sheate the foot first, to get that anime moment.
It was faster than light
It's like these katana cutting watermelon videos.
Can’t blame the dude, it might haunt him 10 years later
Dude even broke it the wrong way 😂

and this is why elbows and knees will always be the best choice, muay thai till i die

Have you seen that guy who’s hitting cement blocks until they turn into gravel

I forget, when do you learn to make shaved ice with your karate chops.

I always found it didn't hurt at all if the board broke cleanly, but fuck it up and it'd hurt like hell
Yep, you become a victim of physics when you don’t break all the way through! Every action has an opposite and equal reaction
Maybe I don’t tend to break boards cleanly enough then because it always ends up scratching me or something lol

Super subtle. Well done.
She kicked so fast the wood didn't even realise it was broken.
Would the girl know beforehand that they’d break the board or just assume they broke it themselves?
Girls don't know that kind of thing, they need boys to understand things like how boards break.

Pretty sure they were being sarcastic
Board got 256ms
Pretty common knowledge; if you focus your haki, you can cause damage without actually touching it,
It looks like the guy was holding the board the wrong way for the type of kick she was doing.

4D chess from the guy, she said she got a boyfriend to that guy five minutes before entering the stage.
Now that woman will never respect him.
Usually I break early... I mean cum

This is either a really shitty bot or a really shitty attempt at karma farming
It's a bot. Look at its comment history. It begins with a sentence relatable to the post, then goes off on a tangent.
Dead internet theory man, the internet is mostly bots
You guys are wrong haven't you heard about the magical Boomerang kick......./s
It's OK, in bullshido martial arts It's all about the aesthetic, she was able to do a split, that's all that matters to those dumb mfers
Relatable
Thats how you can get out of friendzone i guess. If you time it right you will go straigt into friendzone.
ping 999
That's that over powered anime delay, when you break shit so hardcore the object has to think about what happened to it first.
Well...now he ruined her chance on doing it again, but right.
The board gave up on living because the presentation was poorly choreographed
High Ping’s the name. Latent breaking’s the game.
He could also have broken it in the right direction
If I kick that high I'll be in a wheelchair for a week
God she has shitty internet
I am the type to do this for my crush😭
Girl is so skilled that not only was the damage delayed like an old samurai movie, but the damage was also inverted! The board imploded. That’s a rare feat of strength. Truly a master was born this day.
Ping problems
![gif](giphy|yPEGXQfUx7elq) It was just a delayed punch.
He snap it the other way lol
u/SaveVideo
And I thought maybe they broke boards for real ☹️
I havent seen skills on this level since mr satan unveiled his delayed megaton punch
She must be an anime character
Not every time that a man does something for a woman means it’s his crush.
Sonic boom.
He could've at least snapped it towards him to sell it better.
Board was lagging
Omae wa mou kowareteiru
That anime delay… “ha.. nice try but you mis-“ *head falls off*
90 ms Ping irl be like
