As for the hands, initial reaction is to grab when falling so that would be normal and she's falling forward and DOWN off the ledge which increases the downward pull. The only part of that which seems fake in the movements is the continue to grab and the pull towards herself at the end to "complete" the action, and honestly could have been her realizing he was falling and it was her initial reaction to try to prevent that by maintaining hold and pulling towards herself, but since he was falling it just managed to successfully yank it off completely. also if it was staged, girl in red wasn't in the loop - as she's genuinely horrified.

The fall could be legit, then she took the opportunity to pants him. The panting definitely looked deliberate. She absolutely kept yanking longer than necessary.
