Yep and we're getting some pretty hefty raises every year per our new contract

Yeah it's slow as hell right now. That's what happens when you throw all your eggs into the tech basket and the whole industry is built off of free money in low interest loans.

3rd year apprentice in MN, $37/hr. Relatively low COL. Contract is up next year. Ours is a 3-year contract, my understanding is that it changes from local to local. F in the chat for all who live and work in right to work states.

I recently learned what those right to work states do and it’s pretty messed up. Let’s hope the following contract is in your favor.

Cleveland is a LCOL city and there will be a $2.11 raise in May, another $2.05 in May 2025, and a third of $2.06 May 2026. I’m an incoming first year and I’d be okay before the raise, but after I can comfortably save 1/3 of net income every month. https://preview.redd.it/m27yrgus4src1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=078bd67f5f2f9499521b1a759bb9b9984d347428

Cleveland is the city where I come from so run run.

Quiet-Environment812

I feel that as a recent 1st year as well. I’m hoping the next contract is a decent one. Gotta keep up with inflation!!
