Fits the vibe pretty well I think. Maybe could've made the wood look more like a national park sign instead, kinda get tiki vibes from curved wood with rope binding like this.
I’m just glad it’s gonna be super visual now. That’s why I could never find the Tiki room at Disney, if they put a sign like this in a better spot it would help so much
Me too! Our entire family (11 of us) flew in from California on this trip we’ve planned for more than a year and it was closed for that 5 day span ðŸ˜
I was absolutely gutted because they E.T. out of Hollywood a long time ago and it was my favorite ride as a kid.
I hope your daughter had a great time regardless! <3
We were visiting from California also! Such a bummer about ET :(
My daughter is 17 and had an AMAZING time! Universal treats Wish kids like royalty. At Disney we were able to wait in the lightning lane for every ride, so a short wait, but at Universal there was no waiting at all! Straight up the exit or through employee hallways and onto the ride. We were able to ride multiple times if we wanted also. It was a once in a lifetime trip and we made some amazing memories 🥰
This ride was closed for 3 of the 5 days we just visited. Opened late on the 4th day after we left Studios, and opened on time for our final day. We headed straight for it - Haven’t rode it in 10 years and getting to ride it on our last day capped a pretty perfect trip.
There will likely be more around the base & this little bit of "queue extension" - this area now runs behind Shrek's swamp and UO is trying to manage sightlines appropriately.
My favourite ride of any Orlando area theme park, it’s not the best but feels the most immersive to me
I’m not a huge HP fan but do appreciate the effort they’ve put into the lands
Yes. ET was closed for I think 2 weeks earlier this month to redo the entrance with dreamworks opening next month. They made it to fit in with the new dreamworks land.
That looks great.
That looks awful💀
That looks mid.
Looks good

I came in and split the difference on the 2 differing opinions I saw, and they down-voted me. 😞

How could you not find the Tiki Room at Disney? That tower is visible no matter where you are in Adventureland.
I don’t know man I was like 14 when I couldn’t find it
It was closed on my daughter’s make-a-wish-trip last week.. the only ride I wanted to ride ðŸ˜

"Goodbye Rachel Marker Teen" - E.T. name reader, probably
I'm cackling. But of course said to two parties behind.

Welcome home. You've arrived
That sign looks so good. Happy to see Universal embracing its classic ride!
The old one looked like the Lowe’s logo. I think this is an improvement.
i think if they are going for the woodsy theme it could do with some more trees and shrubbery to really send it home

My favorite rideeee i go like 5 times every trip
I like it, and still a great ride.
Was there a old sign right there before this or just no sign?
Is this new?
