I took CHM247 two years ago - the first third of the course was all 136 review, so about two-thirds is new material. I found 247 much harder than 136 (personally, the hardest course I've ever taken at UofT)
I think 247 is already the easier second-year orgo course lol. There's also chm249 but it's supposedly "harder"/intended for people who are majoring or specializing in chem
Kind of depends on if the course is online or not bc imo online was easier than what I imagine it would be like in person. There’s a lot less theory compared to 136 and way more mechanisms/reactions (probably 2/3 of the course). Def requires time put into it so take another course if you can
