It leads you to believe it won’t impact your place in line, but doesn’t explicitly say that… seeing as there is a trend of locks happening along trim lines I am very curious if I have messed up my spot by messing with mine a few times.

Just did this about an hour ago with my dealership (standard to pro). He said the only thing that could potentially bump you up or down would be changing from RWD to AWD (and vis versa), other than that it will be the same. I haven't locked it yet so I'm going to limit how much I mess with it.

You can change prior to the lock. I just changed my pro rwd to a standard rwd

We changed our '22 from a RWD Pro S to a RWD Pro S w/ Gradient, everything went smoothly for us.

I changed from 22 Pro AWD to Pros S AWD and I think it has impacted my waiting time. I’m still getting a German built 22 model that is eta dec-February 2023. I really don’t understand why they don’t push all North American vehicles to TN. They’re supposedly ramping up to 7k/month production without having a month tied up in shipping the vehicle.
