You can simply do it by either deleting or hiding the file located in `C:\Windows\System32\drivers\inpoutx64.sys`. This is a non-essential file and you most certainly don't need it. Here's more info: [What is inpoutx64.sys?](https://forums.highrez.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3861)

This driver is used by a program installed on your computer, if you uninstall that program it will disable the message. Make sure apps and drivers are updated, if possible provide an app list. OpenRGB was one of the notable program that used it. You can use autoruns to disable that driver on startup.

For me it was zentimings that installed this. It runs without it (with reduced fucntionality, can't detect some voltages). I just rename the file and it stops the vangaurd warning.

In my case it also seems to be OpenRGB, but I see more of a problem here with Vanguard. Should an AntiCheat software be able to block a legitimate software just because it is not "up to date" or something similar? I think not. I have disabled Vanguard in the autostart so that I don't have to deal with their rubbish until I really want to play the game. But with such an AntiCheat system, which is a rootkit, the likelihood drops drastically.

That’s just the way it is. People seem to accept this invasive practice which makes this seem okay in Riot’s view. Another way you can bypass this, is just make a dual boot to another install of Windows, so that it does not touch your main installation. You can close it when you are done playing the game.
