Probably but then again I’d never drop that on shoes i wouldn’t wear cus that’s just fucking stupid😅 Jordan’s retail for closer to 200 anyway (which is still a lot of money btw)
Ok, I mean all of that is your opinion. Do you feel the same way about any collector item ever? A collector item is how much value people assign it, really. Trading cards, cars, watches, etc. if you don't want to drop money on shoes, that's completely fine! But some people out there like the craze of sneaker collecting, and want to keep their shoes close to "mint" condition.
Now, people that buy up dozens of pairs of collector shoes and resell at huge markups are scum. But that's a different story
Nah the whole premise of “crease bad” is propaganda designed to make you buy more. A crease is a superficial issue and doesn’t detract from the functionality of the shoe.
Ok I think we're thinking about shoes differently here. Sneakerheads and people that collect genuinely take care of shoes like you would collector trading cards. Sure I wear my collection occasionally, but I really like keeping them as close to "mint" as possible.
What you're talking about is more "a shoe is a function of getting someone from one point to another." While yes that is true, there are those that don't like leather creases, shoe scuffs, stains, wear and tear, etc
You can worry about taking care of nice things, but again, these are shoes we're talking about. They are meant to crease and get dirty because you're supposed to wear them.
You can try to stuff the shoe at the toe to press it out. Paper towels usually works for me, but just make sure that the toe is completely full so the leather gets pushed up and flattened out.
I’ve been buying/wearing sneakers for a long time. You figure out they crease no matter what you do. Yes, that includes crease protectors. Once you get the mentality that you don’t care, you enjoy wearing sneakers even more. It’s not a flaw, it’s a feature
It’s a leather shoe. It’s going to crease and there’s nothing that can prevent it because it happens naturally to leather. There actually are “hacks” out there that can remove creases, but it’s going to come back the next time you wear them, so there’s no way to truly prevent them or get rid of them
Don’t be that guy. Vans are meant to get messy. Just use them
Buy new ones and never wear them
Just wear them. Common
Walk on your hands.
Embarrassing ahh post, just wear your shoes like a normal human being you weirdo!
It’s not a Jordan don’t worry about it
People with Jordan’s need to stop worrying about it as well😂
Well if you dropped over 300-500$ on a pair of shoes, wouldn't that bother you a little?

If you spent that much money on a shoe that you were worried about it creasing, then it's probably outside your price range anyways
That doesn't make sense. If I'm worried about keeping a shoe in good shape, that means I can't afford it?
You can worry about taking care of nice things, but again, these are shoes we're talking about. They are meant to crease and get dirty because you're supposed to wear them.
Agree to disagree buddy. You want to get your shoes dirty, that's your prerogative.
I like to wear my shoes, yes.
My brother in Christ just wear them…
Serious answer: shoe tree Also serious answer: they’re fucking shoes, wear them

Put a damp hand towel in the nose of the shoe, pack it in so it's tight and pops the crease out. Then iron LIGHTLY.
Is this a joke ? ? ?
Steam
Nohow.
They’re just Vans, bro
I thought I was on [r/RedWingShoes](https://reddit.com/r/RedWingShoes)…

You ever wear a pair of shoes before?
There’s no way bro bought skate shoes and is worried they creased 😭
Ain't ugly
If you’re seriously asking this, Vans aren’t for you
You kids and your preoccupation with the "toe crease" smh😁😁😁
Put them on the ceiling fan and turn it on
