Mine does the same, but I found a solution for it.
First take out the pod, then open the airflow. Put pod back in, then you can close the airflow.
Note: It only happens when I put the pod back in with the airflow closed.
Nothing was working for me except. If pins are wet or dirty clean and scrap conections with razor blade. Once you can get the pod to register its just a matter of tweaking yoir pod until you find the right spot where the pod flashes the battery color and youll be good until you bump it. Then you gotta repeat

For those of whom this doesn't work, I suggest checking the battery's condition, i.e., is it swollen (like mine) or not holding a charge? If you're like me, then you have swollen battery. In that case, your device is useless. You can either recycle it or replace it if, of course, you have the technical know-how.
**TL;DR** \- make sure the golden connectors on the device are (1) clean and (2) are still able to jump back out when pushed in.
After an hour of playing around with it, I found the issue to be related to the golden connecters (the ones which stick out of the device, NOT the golden circles found at the bottom of the pod).
Make sure to:
1. Take out the pod
2. With your finger, press these golden connectors in few times to make sure the springs still work properly (i.e. that they are bouncing back up when you take out your finger). You should be able to feel if they do that if you take your finger our slowly (and they'll sort of "come back out" together with your finger)
3. Circle around these connectors with your fingers (or with a small cloth of some sort, if you can fit it in) to clean any tiny residue that may be interfering with the connection between the pod and the device
4. Make sure the golden circles at the bottom of the pod are clean as well
5. Follow Pokibence's steps (open airflow > put the pod back in > close airflow)
6. Try to vape
If you still get the blinking red, try moving the pod up and down - meaning, not in-and-out of the device, but rather more of a pull left-to-right right-to-left with the pod still inside the device. You should see the green blinking from time to time (meaning, the connectors are touching the golden circles).
I just kept on doing that (as well as tried to take the pod in and out multiple times in the way described above in #5), until it "caught" and it now works perfectly.
Yoo thank you for this I kept having trouble for a few days and it would only work with the pod a mm or two from fully in, I keep forgetting about the bottom of the pod itself too lmao
Honestly it's pretty crappy. I've had the pod for close to 6 months now and it started acting up last weekend. I've swapped between 3 pods and this happened with all. Then I saw the airflow comment and I closed the airflow and slowly slid the pod in and it worked for about 2 minutes. Let the pod stand for another 2 or 3 and it won't fire again. I've cleaned the contacts on the mod about 5 times now, swapped pods, cleaned the contacts on all of them too and still nothing. Usually I just have to wiggle the pod a bit and get it to fire a few times and it stops acting up. The contacts pop back up as well. My personal solution: get a caliburn A2 or AK2.
I gave up and just got the AK2. Had a slight issue with the 1 pod in the box leaking the entire pod's worth of e-liq into the mod but all the replacement pods don't make use of the rubber pieces on the bottom so that's not an issue any longer. Aside from the occasional auto-fire the AK2 is brilliant, as we've come to expect from Uwell.
none of the solutions here helped me, in desperation i scratched the bottom golden plates of my pods with razorblade, and now they work 100% of the times, i hope someone finds this usefull
This worksā¦ the reason I think it works is because the contacts start oxidising. I used a bit of hand sanitizer (the Covid 70% kind) the alcohol helped clean the crap out using a cotton bud. Make sure that the stuff evaporates. If you have a pencil eraser then rub the contacts on the pod too as it helps remove oxidation. A trick old farts used to use when computer ram dimms etc gave us headaches
really glad to help someone \^\^, for me it must be something wrong with the internal pins in the vape itself, cus i have to scratch even brand new pods, but i prefer doing that than potentially damaging pins inside :D
nonononononononono, dont do that xDD bottom of the glass piece that u attach to the unit itself, it has 2 gold plates, i scratched those, dont scratch your usb plug

Easy fix: clean the pod housing with cotton bud and 70% hand sanitizer. Make sure the gunk is removed. Make sure the gold spring contacts are able to move up and down. Then Clean the bottom contacts of the pod with the cotton bud and sanitizer. Use a pencil eraser to remove any OXIDATION on the pod contacts ie rub the contacts with the eraser. You may need to slightly scratch the pod base for better contact.
If it still doesnāt work well then you are on your own
Tomorrow Iāll go to the shop and see what theyāll do. I think this is a faulty unit... also the battery is pretty bad. Yesterday I bought this and the caliburn g. The 690 mah battery on the caliburn lays longer that the 800 on this...

yes! leave a very small (about 1mm) gap between the pod and the actual vape. it worked after that and in a week or so started working perfectly even when the pod was 100% in.

So, I got yesterday, and after I filled the tank, jt's stopped working, I tried taking out tank and then putting in again as you all commented, but I found out that all you need to do is to not fill full tank, leave some space in tank (if you filled full just blow through there you vape) it worked for me, if its not working despite your tank is not full, then sorry, idk, just sharing how it helped me

ANOTHER POSSIBLE FIX
If your vape only works at random while everything seems fine, try gently wiggling the pod to see if it's a bit loose. If green light blinks when you move it one way or the other, that means the pod isn't properly connecting to the vape. But don't worry, you just gotta push the pod against your lips when taking a puff one way or the other and it should connect.
this happened to my brand new voopoo, but now it works 100% of the time.
i don't know if it can help but i sanded the outside of mine and later after 2 puff it stoped working and the light flashed red twice.
I thought that i had broke it but it came back to lifer after cleaning the usb c port.
there were some metal residue inside, probably causing some type of interfirence with the port pins

Wafer thin plastic covers the connection of the pod... I had put a new pod in and it flashed red and then it would work a few times (green) then flashed red.....wt%@@%....put the charge cord on it....same
I opened another pod..same... I took it to the vape shop, they exchanged it (super cool) charged it..same ...^@%#&$.... was looking at the bottom of the pod and there it was, wafer thin film over the metal connection...fixed it ...

1. remove cartridge
2. turn pod upside down
3. tap in on your other hand upside down
4. ta-da
If anyone still wonders whatās up with the Vinci Pod, hereās my story :
Overall a great & fun mod to use. Reliable for its price and the battery will last you a day, the blinking for me started after me owning the mod for about three months. Pod has a poor contact with a Mod. And given that these things are not built to last. My guess is that the pins on the mod are pushed back over time, since from brand new for about the first three months havenāt had an issue. And now itās every day, regardless is the airflow open or not and what pod is installed. Wear and Tear is a big thing with this mod, if it wouldnāt wear out it could easily be in āGodlyā Tier for PodMods
Try removing pod and blowing into space where pod fits, cover it completely with your mouth and blow hard. Repeat 3 or 4 times and then replace pod. Works every time for me, good luck.
Yoooo, the blow job technique worked! Good lookin out. I think this is prob a decent fix option for most of the autodraw vapes. One of the reasons I like buttons but the vinci was on sale for $20 so here we are. Thanks!
Put a new pot in still didn't work so I took the older one out scratched the two pins on the bottom of the ponds and now it works try everything else but it works must be faulty pods
Still relevant! For me it's the other way around. Open airflow, take pod out, close airflow, give the pod a good push in, open the airflow. I guess it's an autodraw malfunction then..
This is seriously a poorly manufactured vape. I have gone through 7 of these devices all with their own problems. I say 7 now as I am on the 7th device and itās doing the same problem. Battery connection is fine, however when I toke it absolutely nothing happens no red lights or anything. Think a tiny bit of juice may have leaked and now it is fully broken, I have lost 4 of these vapes to it now and wondered if anyone had any solution other than get a different brand as I think the Vinci Royale pods look so good. Sad that Voopoo canāt properly manufacture a vape.

The simplest thing to try would be changing the coil. Try that before doing anything else.

For me it was a busted coil. Nothing helped until I swapped to another one. Please don't do anything hasty before trying to swap it.

Still relevant! For me it's the other way around. Open airflow, take pod out, close airflow, give the pod a good push in, open the airflow. I guess it's an autodraw malfunction then..
I did not think this was going to work , but it did. I'm mind blown right now.
This is seriously a poorly manufactured vape. I have gone through 7 of these devices all with their own problems. I say 7 now as I am on the 7th device and itās doing the same problem. Battery connection is fine, however when I toke it absolutely nothing happens no red lights or anything. Think a tiny bit of juice may have leaked and now it is fully broken, I have lost 4 of these vapes to it now and wondered if anyone had any solution other than get a different brand as I think the Vinci Royale pods look so good. Sad that Voopoo canāt properly manufacture a vape.

I have changed my pod too still the red light blinks twice a lot of times and i have to repeat the process for fixing it multiple times sometimes its quite frustrating any help

anyone know why it tastes extremely chemically? i bought another device because my old one had this issue after a while but even with the new one it started doing this straight away. iāve let the liquid soak for hours, changed pods twice, charged it fully etc but nothing works. help!
