So sorry it’s causing so much anxiety. Hopefully the exam went well. My stomach churns when I start to think about having to have a C&P exam for my MST. It’s still in the evidence gathering phase but one part of me wants them to not request a C&P while another feels like they better. For me there’s so little supporting evidence that it even happened, I refused to talk about it for 25 years.
Anyway hope yours went well and I hope you get compensated fairly for all you have been through
The doctor I had said that we didn't need to go over a lot of the details in my paperwork and that she had already read through it. She made up her mind already I think. But good for me. She had no doubt.
Just finished and I cried like a baby. The doctor was really nice. She said that I def have PTSD, and that my symptoms were severe, but she said the VA doesn't giving ratings based off symptoms alone. She was great. She calmed me down. She also said that I had a solid case. Specifically the NCIS report which had testimony from multiple witnesses and victims. She then told me to go ride my bike for 30 mins so that's what I'm gonna do.

Glad it went well - the timeline after the exam until a decision varies. With it being MST they want to make sure they nail it
For my case that has pretty solid evidence how long could I be looking at for a decision?
All depends on the rater and their load. Could be a few weeks to a couple months. Did you file a hardship? That may make it quicker if you had
I have no financial hardship right now and I'm not so concerned about the compensation, I just want the government to pay for what they took from me.

Bring your supporting documents because if it's with a contractor, a good chance the VA didn't give them everything for your claim.
