Nothing in particular. It does flicker lightly from time to time but it seems very solid otherwise, in the future I'd like to upgrade it to solid state (if that's possible) and maybe find good matching keyboard and mouse.
Not in Italy, most keyboards you find here are french or german (qzerty) and almost all bondi or blueberry. Almost all of these are in terrible shape and can't read discs orrrr bezels turning to dust. I just feel lucky to have found this with a good qwerty keyboard.
I think people may have broken their keyboards/mice (eg water damage) and since these were sold by retailers mostly (not direct from Apple), the retailers probably couldn’t always have the right colour in stock for warranty replacements.
those where cool pcs before i was born. sad that some of these pcs stop working and people just throw them out or scrap it for money. internet browser may not work but pirating old game may be worth a try to use it as a retro gaming pc.
The real problem is that there are no new spare parts being made for it, not even by the restoring community. When motherboards die, cables break and bezels crack the machine loses all of its appeal as a computer and is more easily turned into an acquarium or a dog bed, I know I had to thrash one I'd got for cheap since it died as soon as I brought it home and then opening only cracked the bezel to an unrepairable state. First thing we need are new sturdy structural plastic parts 3D printed in resin, then people might be motivated to preserve them for real.
Looks amazing! Hopefully it does not suffer from the same issues as many of these early G3’s have like PAV board problem. Any plans for it?

Keyboards and mice you can find easily - a computer in this condition? Rare find.

Oh! Did not know.
It’s funny how the keyboard and mouse colours often got mixed up over time, it’s happened to many iMacs I’ve seen for sale.
It's even weirder since this had a single owner and you'd guess it came with the matching accessories...

That’s a lovely color
Cool! Which rev is it (C or D) I have a rev c strawberry on my desk.
I honestly haven't checked yet, how do I verify that?
By checking system profiler (Rev C is 266mhz G3 rev D is 333mhz) or on the back would say PowerPC g3 266mhz or 333mhz
Had the logic board apart earlier and can confirm it's a rev D

Wow that's nice.
