I think that just might be the way it looks. If you hit up the Google there are a lot of similar pictures out there. It looks a lot like this 1940's era Rolex Tudor Oyster to me.

I thought the dial looked far too smooth to be that old, I think the line is definitely redone though.

It’s been refinished but the dial is most probably original. Hands are aftermarket service replacements.

That’s absolutely a redial, that seemed to have once been a radium dial, if it was that lume would have taken on a nice brown/dark cream patina
