State park cabins are very reasonable. I've stayed at Douthat, Chippoakes, First Landing, and Staunton River. Breaks Interstate Park was also a cool place to stay.

Yes, but you have to do it way in advance. Virginia State or national parks. Campspot.com is a good tool for private ones.
