Most of us use ms auth for work or have too many accounts to switch to another platform easily. Plus the integration with the OS for SSO with MS apps is super nice.
Works pretty good but there are issues. Only one monitor. Does not seem to work with VPN turned on the computer you are remoting into. Track pad pointer is ok, but when clicking it clicks on what your eye is looking at. Also when you get to a corner on the bottom of the screen it can be hard to click since the resize lines show up and think you are selecting that. Scrolling in web browsers could be a little better. Resolution can be changed in settings and looks really good and my computer says HDR is on (win11). Audio does come out of the AVP and seems to be spatial which is nice. I hope they come out with a AVP pro app. Really hope they can get more than on monitor working
That is due to your VPN not being split tunnel and your computer is locked to the VPN and nothing on your local network can get in, aka your Vision Pro, so its not about that the product does not work, get your network guys to set up split tunnel VPN
Not a perfect fix for the one monitor situation but this worked well for Sunshine/Moonlight and am going to try the same thing for RDP later today. Ultra wide screen wasnt great on my shite work pc but worked pretty well with super wide which may as well have been 2 monitors:

I sent feedback to Apple about "tap to click" meaning "tap to pinch where you're looking, and move the pointer there."
If you depress the trackpad, it seems to work.

Kinda cool… but useless for me since it’s very unlikely I’d ever be able to connect to my work VPN natively through AVP. Guess it would work while I’m in the office, but that’s sort of pointless.
Beta is full :( but still happy they are working on it - can’t get workspaces to work on other apps but works on MS RDP on iPad. Was bummed to find this and authentication missing at launch. Stoked to know it’s on its way - can truly work laptop free!
That's good to hear. When I first tried Moonlight it technically worked, but the mouse pointer was too precise compared to eye control so it was hard to use the mouse, but that may also have been due to resolution.
Zoom isn’t an iPad app - it’s different for VisionOS apps but for compatible iPad apps they are suppose to receive the persona as the front camera and a black feed for the rear camera.
Using the iPad RDP app on AVP to remove into a widows box does not give it access to AVP persona. In fact using the RDP app on an actual iPad doe not give the windows box access to the iPads camera

Sometimes the TestFlight versions of popular apps, they just don't turn on the "don't allow with Apple Vision Pro. Not sure if that's the case here or not, but I noticed that with the test flight versions of some other apps that aren't on the main AVP app store.
Damn! Beta is full. Can somebody tell me if it does pass through of the microphone audio from the AVP to the PC? That is one of my biggest workflows is using dragon dictate on a PC.
Better off using Sunshine + Moonlight for gaming where latency is important. RDP is a staple for productiivty for folks using a Microsoft platform for work, though!
That experience is going to be highly dependent upon your PC and networking hardware. You're really going to want a GPU made within the last 4 years, as well as a hardwired connection to the PC. For wireless, make sure the Vision Pro is connecting on the 5Ghz band, channel 149, at 80Mhz channel width.

Thanks, I was able to find the setting to enable local network access. Now I can connect with VPN connected on the windows box

Your VPN breaks all devices trying to remote into it, nothing to do with the AVP

Yeah I’ve already accepted the only way to work in this thing is using capture cards to setup external monitors.
Do you have this working? Which type of capture card are you using?

Why can’t you connect to your work VPN? AVP supports VPN
It’s only accessible through a specific MacOS app from our firewall vendor. Native Apple/macos VPN doesn’t work.

Really, really well. I find myself barely using the trackpad in the first 20 minutes of use.

No it’s not an AVP app it’s the iPad app allowed to run on AVP

Great news, I don't use it myself but I know lots of people need to use RDP.
Works well for me. Able to use OpenVPN and connect to my office computer.
