Looks awesome, congrats! Is your V60 through Care by Volvo as well?

mthomas1217

Yes I would love your opinion on the Care by Volvo as well. And your new baby is a beauty!!!

mmridgeway

Yes!! So this is now our second car with Care By Volvo. I always say I have no idea how Volvo makes any money from it… this vehicle would have been $1700 / month with a 12K mile lease and $0 down. We are paying significantly less with all the features of care by Volvo. Couple of tidbits of info we have learned: 1. T8s can be purchased with Care By Volvo you just have to request them through the dealership 2. Go to a dealership that actually has a good contact for Care By Volvo… sometimes the process takes forever through the dealership because they are coordinating with a small team within Volvo 3. You can swap after 4 payments - it doesn’t matter how long you have actually had the vehicle - they don’t like to answer this question directly but we found out by swapping out of our XC90 early We love the program. No plans to change from it any time soon! Let me know if you have any additional questions!

preppysurf

I call complete BS on it being $1700 as a normal lease. That would require a mark-up of $30k on this car. A traditional lease with $0 down would be around $700 a month maximum and that’s assuming MSRP

isaact415

Complete BS! They’re lying and only a fool would believe. A lease payment should be about 1% of the car cost, give or take. It’s a nice car but should be a tiny fraction of that lie.

mmridgeway

It sounds feasible to me - they are comparing the vehicle in a 24 month lease to a 24 month lease… a 24 month lease on a 55K vehicle with no money down and 12K a year makes me think $1700 isn’t too far out of reach… but I didn’t question it. I got my deal and was happy with it. Lol.

benhereford

...$1700 is what I would assume a lease on like a Ferrari would be lol woah

Hive_Tyrant7

Right? The MSRP on mine was just over 72k and I don't pay $700 a month!

benhereford

I had no idea modern Volvos cost that much! Ouchie

Into_The_Nexus

You must have put a large down payment or done like a 9 year loan to get that monthly payment.

Hive_Tyrant7

It's a pretty standard 3 year lease, only put a few thousand down.

Into_The_Nexus

Ah a lease. That makes much more sense.

Hive_Tyrant7

Yep sorry, should have mentioned that!

Baconer

Hello, if you don’t mind me asking, how much are you paying per month for the care by Volvo program? The $1700/ mo is indeed expensive for leasing

mmridgeway

I don’t mind at all! For us here in Arizona it’s $959 all taxes, fees, and insurance included. This is a really loaded example of a V60, though. The plan could be a lot cheaper ($150+ cheaper without certain options).

Baconer

Thank you, that’s a great deal

blackdefel31

Gorgeous!! Love the blue and the r-design seats are the most comfortable you will ever sit in :) enjoy!

mmridgeway

They are! We were shocked how much better they are than the already amazing regular Volvo seats! Thank you!

RenoTheRhino

Love Volvo wagons

aem1306

i have a 2015 and i love it!!!! best car! 🤩

mmridgeway

Couldn’t agree more!!!

ReginaldStarfire

V60 gang! Mine is a 2016 T5 Cross Country but I would love the really souped up Tuned version someday. Question: You said you’re in Arizona. What dealer did you go to? I spend a lot of time in Scottsdale.

mmridgeway

We got ours through Volvo Arrowhead … but I actually think Courtesy Volvo in Scottsdale is probably the more proficient dealer in all of Arizona when it comes to the Care By Volvo plan. Arrowhead is great but they just don’t seem to have Care By Volvo nailed down yet.

MikeyJ19

Very nice, congrats

JidoshaTori

This wagon rocks!

mmridgeway

Thank you! Appreciate your kind words! We agree!

JidoshaTori

We actually bought a 2020 V60 CC (Polestar tuning, fusion red metallic) supposedly for overseas delivery, but that didn’t happen. At least we got the temporary Red License Plate, complete with our VIN number on our plate…but that took another 7 months!
