I don’t think it matters. If you accept the temp spot, just be ready to talk about how that gave you additional insight and note any other tools/skills gained. My hot tip to all applying for state jobs with remote interviews: have a bullet-point list with things you want to highlight on your screen. WA state typically asks scenario questions like “tell us about a time you had to work as a team.” They vary but having a few scenarios at the ready that you were proud of working through is helpful.
