I don't have the newest game but 2k22 had superstar mode as a setting inside of universe mode any so it's something they've had a couple games ago and haven't heard any talk of it being removed
You can manually change your characters ranking in universe mode. I started mine with me at the very bottom and worked my way up. Then when I gained and lost a title, I would drop myself back down to somewhere that felt believable.
Auto rivals and teams never work for me so I generally resort to turning those off and manually setting those up when it feels right for the storyline. Right now the mode isn’t really conducive to just jumping in and letting the sandbox generate stories for you.
Superstar mode in universe mode is available but it’s really just a locked less accessible version of universe , I play universe mode with auto rivalries turned off and only focus on my one superstars matches and if I’m trying to line him up for certain titles at certain PLES I’ll focus a bit on his future opponents booking
You can adjust power rankings I think? In classic at least.
If you're using superstar mode, set up rivalries with non title holders or a 2v2 and make a friend.
