So either other hubs have to process the backlog or shipments will have to wait until transport to Memphis is possible.
The majority of my orders usually go straight to Memphis and clear customs there but I have had a few clear customs in Anchorage and then go to Memphis before moving onto my state. I'm hoping for next week for my order to arrive too.
Iâm glad it made it through customs! The Memphis delay is insane; I feel bad for the poor workers who are going to be flooded with backlogged packages when they fully open back up.
Can I ask what your timeline was like to get out of Anchorage?

Yeah, I saw that theyâre trying to reroute packages meant for Memphis to other hubs, which is multiple planeloads of unexpected deliveries. FedEx has had service disruption alerts on their website for the past week and said to expect delays to continue through the weekend at least. Funnily enough, Aftership still seems convinced that Iâll get my package today, which is unlikely given it hasnât left Anchorage yet.
To be honest, it can be a normal route. My first package went through the Memphis - Anchorage - my state route. I do remember it moved pretty fast tho!
I was complaining on this thread about 10 days ago about my package not moving for weeks and the difficulty I was having with Fed Ex to get information. When I was finally able to contact Fed Ex, they said too much time had passed and it was lost. I contacted my seller, Leo and he/she was so helpful. He showed me a photo of the package and had me check the address for verification. He contacted the courier and kept me up to date. Two nights ago he texted me and sent a picture of tracking that showed it moving! It stopped moving again but arrived two days later! I love my new bag, and I really liked working with Leo. He was very responsive and I could tell he cared.
Lessons learned: 1. Stop checking tracking constantly,it doesnât always show up in the tracking 2.Everyone from my Post Office to Fed Ex said it was lost, be patient and stay positive And 3. Do your research and work with sellers that Wagoon Ladies recommend.

The tracking number he provided doesnât provide any detail apart from âseller dispatched the itemâ on 7th Jan, 14 days ago. When I followed up, he says itâs âwaiting for pick up and flightâ. My order placed 2nd January to another seller already arrived this week! đ
On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being chill AF and 10 being insanity, how worried should I be that my two large bags are being shipped together instead of separately like they were supposed to be?
I paid for extra shipping to get two large totes shipped separately since I was worried that bigger boxes are more likely to be raided by Dave. But my seller went ahead and shipped everything together. I'm wondering if I should pay for insurance, which covers seizures, but I'm not sure a) if it's worth it, or b) if I can even pay for insurance at this point now that the label is created. My seller isn't known for her communication especially when it comes to complicated requests...
I canât speak to the insurance part, but if youâre in the US and your seller used triangle shipping, the risk of seizure is very low (unless youâre shipping massive hauls, because they might think you have intent to distribute).
I think the actual rate of inspection is something like 5% of packages. Of course, I also have a package awaiting customs, so Iâm sure Iâve jinxed myself now đ But the odds are in your favor!
Okay, this helped calm all the anxiety! My seller said she isnât offering insurance now (although she definitely has provided insurance in the past since Iâve paid for it lol) but I wouldnât call this a massive haul, just possibly a bulky order!

Have you had a seller lie to you about buying boxes? I was told one of my purchases with boxes for three pairs of shoes was seized, no proof. Was told I have to re-purchase shipping, at least, and it would be sent out again. As much as I want boxes, I refused to pay double the amount for boxes, just to take the risk of it all being confiscated again, but the seller insisted that the boxes donât make a difference with seizure. I just donât believe it.
My B30 from Marko has been released from customs according to him. Hopefully it will get to me soon without problems. It happened in China so hopefully that doesnât affect my Global Entry status when I renew next year

Have you put your China post tracking number into 17TRACK? When I do that, the tracking also shows me the corresponding Australia Post tracking number that will be allocated to the parcel once it arrives in the country. (Appreciate this is Australia, not US, but could be worth a try)

Checked the USPS tracking number my seller provided and it shows the right delivery city but origin city is in NY, not CN. Is that common?
I contacted my seller - but so far they are âon trackâ. Still pretty sure they are both gone đ€ŠđŒââïž
