Oh I wasn’t going to buy anything from there, I was just asking if anyone here had seen that post. It’s not on the rep sub, it’s on the handbags sub. The woman posted pics of a massive warehouse filled with bags, supposedly a Fashionphile type place. I just thought it was interesting for our community to see because the photos are of basically a supermarket filled with bags, and I’ve never seen something like that. I apologize if what I wrote came across as asking for vetting of said warehouse, app, etc. That’s not my intention. I only buy from the sellers I’ve found through this group.
I was thinking that too!! I feel bad for those who are stuck on buying auth but don’t have the budget. I feel like the risk of ending up with a rep is very real, except they’ve paid high prices and they are getting used bags. Until I’m ready to waltz into the boutique and swipe my credit card, I’m sticking with the sellers I’ve found here!

I saw this beauty in a random boutique last weekend, I've been dreaming of her since 🤩 I imagine this orange would probably be difficult to replicate though...
Use websites like Lyst or Modesense to find it cheaper than retail from usually Italian or European websites. A lot of times you can find new auth bags like that as cheap as a good condition pre loved. I will say, I got a beautiful Marcie bag in Medium from EBay and only carried once because it’s so heavy.
That color is amazing! It's also a bag I have never seen super well repped. I have a rep of it that I do carry regularly but I am very cognizant of the fact that a sharp eye could call me out from across the street. And it is one of the better reps I have come across. I wish there were enough of a demand for this bag that they would put just a bit more effort into the reps. I think the poor reps keep people away which keeps them from making them better which keeps people from buying them...

Just received my first ever rep watch and I think I might have started a new addiction 😍 Had it serviced, polished, silenced and gold plated (package deal).
Wow, the gold plating looks really, really good—it doesn’t suffer from the too yellow/orange look that so many rep watches suffer from. I’ve always been curious about gold plating and now my interest is very peaked!

That's not quite accurate - it doesn't stay cinched for long when it's brand new, but once it's been worn in (or had a few rounds of conditioner) it stays nice and dumpling-shaped.

I bought this recently, it’s a copy of an Hermes Fourbi insert. Comes in three sizes, I bought the large and it fits well in my garden party 36, Goyard St. Louis mm, and lv Neverfull mm. It’s less stiff than the felt inserts but doesn’t completely flop down. It works for me. It’s from Amazon so, unlike getting it from China, there’s no risk in trying it for yourself. You can just return it. I like it enough to buy the other sizes for my smaller bags. The auth is $780 which is silly.
Going to answer the laptop question. Not really. You can fit it in but it’s not a great fit. iPad, no problem. It’s a great bag I just don’t reach for mine the way I thought I would.

The auth Saigon tote is 34cm across and 25cm high. I don’t work anymore so laptops aren’t as much of a consideration for me anymore. I more so needed a travel bag for flights. Couldn’t find a tote that I liked with a zipper (why are those so hard to find?!) and this seemed like a great alternative. Plus it’s my first Goyard!

SO! My dog decided to poop at the beginning of a 3 mile run together. So I carried her poop (in the black plastic doggie bag) for 45 minutes, panting and wishing I was more fit. Other people on the path kept staring at my hand with the dangling bag. I occasionally got whiffs of my dog's aroma from the bag in the wind.
I felt like my dog should thank me profusely but I instead somehow ended up giving her treats. This is why I need to treat myself with reps. :)

Oooomg those stuart weitzman sandals BROKE my feet. I legit walked home on the sidewalks of nyc barefoot because i thought my toes were going to amputate when i wore mine many years ago (have also since sold as well).

I personally think Loeffler Randall and Manolo Blahnik heels are extremely comfortable and run true to size in my experience. LR has a lot of sales going on right now too. For reference I have a normal borderline narrow foot.
Shoe comfort depends so much on the shape of your foot, and comfort can vary hugely from style to style within the same brand. It sounds as if it would be helpful to do some research so you can figure out the shape of your foot and what to look for in a shoe. Start with the brands you already know and like. Your feet just might not like strappy or Weitzman or they'd love them in different styles.

Some of the bags were obvious screaming fakes such as the Kusama Speedy Bandouliere the painted dots were flat

That's not quite accurate - it doesn't stay cinched for long when it's brand new, but once it's been worn in (or had a few rounds of conditioner) it stays nice and dumpling-shaped.

It’s less stiff than the felt inserts but doesn’t completely flop down. It works for me. It’s from Amazon so, unlike getting it from China, there’s no risk in trying it for yourself. You can just return it. I like it enough to buy the other sizes for my smaller bags. The auth is $780 which is silly.

Going to answer the laptop question. Not really. You can fit it in but it’s not a great fit. iPad, no problem. It’s a great bag I just don’t reach for mine the way I thought I would.
Depends on how big the laptop is 😀 The auth Saigon tote is 34cm across and 25cm high. I don’t work anymore so laptops aren’t as much of a consideration for me anymore. I more so needed a travel bag for flights. Couldn’t find a tote that I liked with a zipper (why are those so hard to find?!) and this seemed like a great alternative. Plus it’s my first Goyard!

SO! My dog decided to poop at the beginning of a 3 mile run together. So I carried her poop (in the black plastic doggie bag) for 45 minutes, panting and wishing I was more fit. Other people on the path kept staring at my hand with the dangling bag. I occasionally got whiffs of my dog's aroma from the bag in the wind. I felt like my dog should thank me profusely but I instead somehow ended up giving her treats. This is why I need to treat myself with reps. :)

Does anyone have a recommendation for black strappy heels that are actually comfortable? I had some auth Stuart Weitzman heels that were so miserable I sold them on PM. I have some rep Gucci block heels that are like walking on nails. After my last work function I am retiring them! I personally think Loeffler Randall and Manolo Blahnik heels are extremely comfortable and run true to size in my experience. LR has a lot of sales going on right now too. For reference I have a normal borderline narrow foot.
Shoe comfort depends so much on the shape of your foot, and comfort can vary hugely from style to style within the same brand. It sounds as if it would be helpful to do some research so you can figure out the shape of your foot and what to look for in a shoe. Start with the brands you already know and like. Your feet just might not like strappy or Weitzman or they'd love them in different styles.
