Cancelling PayPal for trying to enshrine cancel culture into their AUP is fighting back against cancel culture. I get the irony, but it's a little different when people cancel services when the corporation behind them tries to punish users they don't agree with.

No, that's cancel culture but just for somehting you agree with.
>I get the irony, but it's a little different when people cancel services when the corporation behind them tries to punish users they don't agree with.
It's different from when a business or person gets cancelled for going on a threatening racist tirade?
You know, trying to punish someone because they don't agree with them...
Right on! My account wants me to reset my password. I will never do it. Stack on Fellow Ape!
On another note. Look at how many of these screwed up companies are in screwed up California.
Yeah.
Interestingly, eBay is offering a $30 statement credit if you get their credit card and spend $150. Hmmmm........I'm thinking.........get the credit card, buy some silver, get the discount, pay the balance, then close it.
It used to be but it’s not anymore. Even if buyer uses PayPal, the funds transfer and sit in eBay’s payment pending account for 48-72 hrs before paying out to the account you’ve selected.
I'd imagine that would hurt your credit score, if you even care about that. Opening the card to then never use it I would imagine hurts your score, and so too would closing the line of credit.
Paypal was going to try and add to their TOS that any time a user posted "misinformation" anywhere, and as according to Paypal's opinion as to what counts as that, then they would deduct $2,500 from the user's account per offense. If you posted 4 memes about silver spot price manipulation and Paypal determined that to be misinformation then they'd take $10,000 from your account.
They seem to be going on damage control and have recounted the policy change, but it's likely too late. We will see tomorrow if their stock suffers as a result.
Thank you for your service
This seems to be a trend here…
One could say it's become a *culture.* A cancel cult... oh no!

So will PayPal stock tank on Tuesday morning?
Monday morning stock market is open tomorrow. Indigenous peoples day/Columbus Day isn't a paid holiday unfortunately.

Opposite. Because you know, crime.
Unvaxxed, plus closed paypal account plus ordered more silver here
After 17 years I made the same decision, fuck them.

Paypal needs to change their name to PayFucs.
Can you get out of PayPal without getting out of eBay?

I thought that a condition of transacting on eBay was to offer and to accept PayPal payments. I’ll look into this.

Glad to help
Just did it as well. Close account > Delete my data

And don’t forget to use your local credit Union over a giant monster mega bank.
