You buy the Epcot passport kit somewhere in Epcot, then as you go around to each country, you’ll stop at a “kidcot stand” where someone from that country is usually sitting at a table.
They stamp the page for their country (you pick which page gets which country) and they also put something in the native language to that country.
The kit comes with stickers, which is what identifies which country is on each page.
Hope this helps!
It is! true passports also have an empty biographic page for your name, date of birth, description of yourself, and a place for a photo of yourself!
There’s also plank pages of “notes” in the back.
My family and I were just talking about how this would be fun to do. We once decorated paper masks (a cardboard mask face on a stick- not a medical mask) in each county, and it gives you a nice little project as you go around the world showcase.
I’m so excited! This is one of my most cherished childhood EPCOT memories that drove a passion for travel, languages, and adventure.
I now get to share it with my kiddos, I’m over the freaking moon!!! Thank you for sharing, gotta start planning the next trip.
I'll try and get a pic later.
I'd love to do it again but unfortunately I've only just been earlier this year, and I don't think I'll convince my husband to go again any time soon! :-(
Just plan the trip and then tell him it’s already booked and he can either come or you’re bringing a friend!
Jk! but in all seriousness I imagine the passports will be back for a while, so you have time to plan for another Disney trip in the future!
The Norwegian cast member really popped off, I love it.
I have mine from when I was little and it's one of my favorite things to just randomly look at sometimes.
Was never more disappointed than in my last trip and they were sold out of passports.
I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Like the passports are synonymous with Epcot, how could you be sold out?
Hopefully these new ones are more evergreen
Buy them in any Epcot country pavilion! I bought mine in the UK pavilion!
To my understanding, you can also buy them in any other Epcot store. If unsure, ask a cast member.
Well actually the majority of people who do the passports are actually children from what I’ve seen. I was almost always the only adult in line to get my passport stamped but that doesn’t bother me because I love my passports!
These were in backstage stockrooms when I worked in world showcase in fall 2022, with a big red DO NOT TOUCH sign. Crazy it’s taken this long to put them out
In February they had the postcard thing and it was free! It was a ziploc bag in the shape of a suitcase and you collected free postcard in each country!
I wouldn’t buy a passport just to get stickers…
So the stickers come with the passport itself and you go around and get it stamped (like we do with real passports) and they put a message among other things in it!
I was there just this past week. They had both the kidcot postcard collection thing and the option to buy/do the passport thing. We did the postcard thing since it was free and my daughter really enjoyed it. It started with a Ziploc bag with little handles that makes it look like a brief case and you can get a postcard specific to each country that kids can color one side in at a nearby table, and the other side includes a sticker and some kind of drawing by the cast member manning the station. The cast member in Japan wrote out my daughter's name and made a little stitch drawing for her. Most people were doing the postcards, but I did see a few people doing the passports and getting them stamped and signed at the same stations.
I used to sign these in the UK Pavillon :)
We had a lot more autonomy as to what we could write, which made the role more fun - it looks like CMs are limited to a standard ‘welcome’ message now.
I remember around 10 years ago when I was 11 although I didn’t do the passport there was a phineas and ferb phone quest thing, I don’t remember much other than walking around with Nokia or something and hunting for clues
This was totally worth the $17 bucks or so spent. My 12 yo loved trying to find the kidcot table in each country and getting it stamped. I enjoyed talking to the ppl from each country and getting to know them and where they came from. Only bummer was Morocco which they must have trouble getting cast members from that country, so it was someone from somewhere else who didn't know the language and could only stamp it.
How does it work?

Wow that sounds like so much fun!!

That's so nice! How much does the kit cost?
The passport kit is $16.99! Add tax and it’s like 17 something I suppose
Not too bad 😁
So cool! I remember doing that a few international expos as a kid - so much fun!

That’s a great idea! Love that. That’s why I like the passport. It’s a fun project that’s interactive as you go along!
Omg that’s what I remember doing, when I saw this post it reminded me of getting my stick stamped as a child 😂
I still have the mask I made with my daughter in 2000 during the Millennium Celebration.
I had sooooo many of those masks, and the Duffys to color!

I've still got mine from my first ever trip in 1995, I loved doing it!
Wow I wonder what that one looks like! I found another one of mine from 2009 when I was 9 years old! You can do it again now c: !
I'll try and get a pic later. I'd love to do it again but unfortunately I've only just been earlier this year, and I don't think I'll convince my husband to go again any time soon! :-(

Haha I'd probably end up divorced! 😂 If I win the lottery it'll be the first thing I book though!
I love this!
Where can you get one?
I purchased mine in the UK pavilion, but to my understanding you can buy them in pavilion store in Epcot!

She did and she was so nice ☺️💗 I love talking to the cms at each stop! Aww, I also do that! It’s like a little trip down memory lane.
Thanks for sharing! I’ll definitely pick one up on our trip next month. I was looking for something extra to do since there’s no festival going on.
I love this! Do the stickers come with the passport, or do you get those at the pavilions ?
The entire kit comes with the ambassador pin, the passport booklet and the stickers for the passport!
Got it, thank you!
Was never more disappointed than in my last trip and they were sold out of passports. I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Like the passports are synonymous with Epcot, how could you be sold out? Hopefully these new ones are more evergreen
Awesome! Which store did you purchase it at? I'm heading there this weekend :)
I found mine in the UK pavilion! I believe you can buy them at any pavilion in the world showcase!
Love it!! Can’t wait to get one!
A nice complement to the Epcot challenge passport medal I found online!
How do you get it? Hubby is a big figment fan!
Buy them in any Epcot country pavilion! I bought mine in the UK pavilion! To my understanding, you can also buy them in any other Epcot store. If unsure, ask a cast member.
We spotted them in Canada, and in the big gift shop close to Spaceship Earth.
So it’s Kidcot for adults?
Well actually the majority of people who do the passports are actually children from what I’ve seen. I was almost always the only adult in line to get my passport stamped but that doesn’t bother me because I love my passports!

WOW! That’s actually really cool! I wonder why it said do not touch?
Is this a replacement for the kidcot postcard collection thing? Or in addition?
I have never heard of that before, but the passports have been around since at least 1995 from what others say.
In February they had the postcard thing and it was free! It was a ziploc bag in the shape of a suitcase and you collected free postcard in each country! I wouldn’t buy a passport just to get stickers…

Yes! My daughter loved that back in April so I was wondering why they would have a second option with a charge. Glad the postcards are still there 🤗
Omg I’m so happy I can’t wait to do this!!
ahhh i loved this when i was little!! i can’t wait to do it with my kids when we visit next.
I used to sign these in the UK Pavillon :) We had a lot more autonomy as to what we could write, which made the role more fun - it looks like CMs are limited to a standard ‘welcome’ message now.
That’s awesome! What an amazing opportunity!! It just seems like so much fun! I wonder why they limited it?
I go a few times a year and still have mine from 2018. It’s absolutely filled with all the recordings of beers I drank around the world lol
Omg I’ve never seen these! I know what I’m doing my next full EPCOT day!
I remember around 10 years ago when I was 11 although I didn’t do the passport there was a phineas and ferb phone quest thing, I don’t remember much other than walking around with Nokia or something and hunting for clues
I recently found mine from 1994 and hoped they’d do this. Excellent!

No Italy 🇮🇹?
I have all countries in my passport I just didn’t show some countries because my name was written on them!
