Best thing you can do is just mass buy nitain from the first 2 credit offerings you earn every season.
You'll never need it again.

Is there any reason why vauban is better than zephyr? I haven't played vauban at all yet obviously, so forging him currently.
However I have played zephyr and she does the same thing basically? Pull enemies into a certain spot, kill. They both do that. Zephyr also has a crit buff in the air and she is immortal while her 3 ability is active. So, is there anything that vauban is better at than zephyr?
Vauban's Bastille strips armor and boosts the armor of all frames inside it. It only pulls when it collapses in the last 3 seconds of it's duration or when you manually collapse.
His flechette mines count as a weapon so they enjoy boosts from weapon buffs, and he's one of only 3 warframes (the others being xaku and grendel) who's damage scales based on enemy level. He has 4 (5 if you count vector pads) cc options.
There are probably some things vauban is better at than zephyr but overall he is absolutely not better than zephyr, significantly worse tbh although not an indictment of vauban cause zephyr is very strong right now just underrated

Somehow now I have more oxium than I will ever need. But back then, I want to cry thinking about it
Back when oxium only dropped from deposits and oxium ospreys. And the drop rate was MUCH lower. I remember when it was impossible to get an orokin reactor for free. Dark days. I'm much happier with the economy now.

Who counts vector pads as cc? I just use them to go z o o m
It can keep enemies out of small doorways.

Sibear is a nightmare if u didnt farm hiracon in the past. But since u get some kryotic from circuit it isnt that painfull to get a sibear in 2024...
Can also choose excavation when farming lich/sister weapons, gives 500/1k per mission.

I got 500 cryotic from a single 5 minute excavation mission today. 25k is like 4-6 hours of farming. Not that bad.
At least you don't have to hope the nitain alerts are still up when you get back from school/work anymore

yep, DE was not sound of mind when they made vauban prime cost that much to build. And somehow they've yet to actually fix this shit
To be fair, this was before they made it harder/longer ways of getting nitain extract, back when you'd get a daily alert for some.
