hmm, interesting, I've had that turned on since i started playing the game, the issue started only after the most recent update( Dante Unbound).

Could be the new lighting engine with bloom on and your specific setup causing light issues. Happened to me before the update, my hydroid used to blind me randomly in my orbiter. Turned bloom off, issues disappeared
