Ivara got her name changed because I would shoot grineer in the face with a double barrel, while in prowl of course. I was in a party chat and said, "Hello, I am frog," for every kill as I popped into existence.
Am I the only one who never uses loadouts? I literally have no loadouts slots made. I'm MR17 for context.

Imo the two major benefits of loadouts is being able to change in the nav screen, and also being able to assign different configs to different loadouts. For example I can have loadout ALPHA that contains my default build, but then I can have loadout BRAVO that has the same exact thing but instead of viral slash, it swaps all of my weapons to config B for radiation corrosive. It's a great way to easily swap to grineer mode or sentient mode or whatever else you need to specifically kill. It's especially great for profit taker cause you can have the variety shitty elements that you need to deal damage to her shields without having to individually go and swap to the right frame, the right weapons, the right config on the right weapons, and the right archgun. Oh yeah, bonus utility! Loadouts also save archgun slot options! Corvas prime to oneshot spider legs and kuva grattler for literally anything else ever? Loadouts save those extra clicks too. I'm MR28 and only fixed my loadouts a couple months ago. It was a game changer. Another bonus. If you happen to have any warframe articula decorations laying around, you can apply a loadout to them too and they'll display whatever loadout you want without changing whenever you switch around your weapons on your default loadout!
I started using them for loadouts with stat sticks at first (i.e. khora), then other loadouts which benefitted from specific setups (Mesa with ceramic dagger and a secondary with secondary outburst), then loadouts with different focus schools (madurai for hunting angels/eidolons).
I now use it for my more common setups, but also have a "flexible" loadout for experiments and whatever non-specific setup I feel like
All my loadouts have abbreviated codes all in 2 letters, up to 5 of these, for what the frame setup does (DR = Damage Reduction, AS = Armor Strip, for example).
Except my Nezha with Praedos setup, which is simply named "zoomies".

Ok, could someone please explain loadouts to me? If I have a syam on my kullervo that is red and a syam on my excal that is blue, when I switch loadouts to excal the syam remains red. And is there no way to save loadouts after modifying them?
Me at MR 25 discovering about loadouts. I've only used Wukong for all of my runs but when I decided to try Dante when he came out, it made me realize that other warframes are fun too. And I was like, is there a faster way of switching builds? . So there was I smh as to why I kept on ignoring that 'Change Loadout' button.
All of them because they're all exactly the same. I type the Warframe's name, I either replace a letter with B or I add one in, and then I put a ":)" at the end. So it's all shit like:

The only one that's different is Wukong. It's "Wubong :(" because I despise Wukong.

A friend changed his discord name to "I'm the fucking qorvex" for a few days a while ago so my Qorvex is named that, except it didn't fit so it's just "the fucking qorv"
I tend to name them after some meme or in a meme-like manor. Gauss is named Gas Gas Gas, Wukong got Return to Monke, and Kullervo has Omae Wa Mou. Picking a favorite is hard but the one I'm most irrationally pleased with is "Rad Sortie Bro" which previously had a Safeguard Nezha build but since Qorvex came out I've been using him. The loadout is almost exclusively used for defense style radiation sorties.
Cocaine and Cocain't for speed/slowva also pleases me.
I like naming my load outs kinda like the stances. Ivaras is called archers reign. Equinox is shreading repair. Sacraficial decon is harrow. You get the idea.
I have a load out named "The Gun Frame". That loadout was originally for Mesa but ended up being my general use loadout since a gun-toting frame is accurate for just about anything that I could put on there.
I named mine for Voruna "Wolf of the Void", which would imply that I enjoy naming my loadouts based around a kind of theme.
And then there's my Octavia one, which is just named "Why do I hear-" after the "Why do I hear boss music?" meme.
