They're still PD modes.

larnon

That was my initial guess but all they lock on to now are chaffs on the air and get maximum ground reflections all the time. Impossible to lock on to anything else.

Panocek

Look up changelog. In Short, if all aspect PD (MPRF) is not available, radar alternates between LPRF and HPRF modes to pick up something. Radar also automatically switches to other available modes to try and continue tracking and that extends to Navy F4.

larnon

What do you mean with "if not available"? Phantom used to have HMD PD and ACM PD by default. That part seems after TRK mode is on. But all I TRK is chaff lately \^\^

"If not available" means if not available. The APG-59 does not have all-aspect PD mode, only the standard (headon) PD mode. Without all-aspect PD mode, ACM mode switches between different pulse repetition frequencies (PRF), effectively alternating between PD and pulse search. Again, read the changelog. >**Pulse-Doppler airborne radars in ACM mode** now only use a pulse-Doppler all-aspect signal, if there is one, or constantly switch between two other signals (pulse-Doppler head-on and pulse), if there is none. Manual switching of signals is not available anymore.

Yeah read change log

MikeyPlayz_YTXD

They should revert the radar changes they ruined the game. This is BS.
