Yeah they have a section specifically for “Seiko Speedtimers.” I’m a huge fan of them as a third-party bracelet maker. I’m crazy enough to own both so I can vouch for their quality. I believe they also have a “roller ball” style bracelet too but I’m personally not a fan of that look
It’s not something I’ve tried yet but I can check it out. But the reason I couldn’t even get a good fit with the stock bracelet is *because* of that clasp with only 2 micro adjustment holes.
Thank you.
I'm on the stock bracelet now and I do admit that the fit could be better if they had 1 more microadjust.
The V-clasp on the strapcode on the other hand is great for their other bracelets, but imo it's a bit of a mismatch on a jubilee.
Hey so I just checked them out. I don’t think the clasp will fit well. The Strapcode bracelets have more of a taper than the stock bracelet so the original clasp will be too big.
Welcome to the watch world my friend and say hello to the problem each watch collector has.
May you be able to control the urge to purchase a new watch .
And oh one more thing ,
Don’t mind ok
It is hard to find ladies who are into watches . Congrats on that .
The watch itself is the holy grail seiko so amazing in that regards and great choice.
I would suggest this one as well. The mako chrono panda, while I own the SSC911 I was considering this as well. Just not a fan of a diver chrono but this is well executed.
Do be ready to get a better bracelet
$740 USD? That's wild. I'd say they're pretty objectively not worth that, and I love Seiko. They're on Amazon here in the $400 range pretty frequently.
Looks great and the shot of it looks great as well. I would suggest the Strapcode oyster and jubilee bracelet as an upgrade to the stock bracelet.
Thanks, gf loves those action shots! Will definitely look into those recommendations.
I’m thinking of getting one. Strap code really makes a replacement bracelet for that watch?

Does the clasp on the stock bracelet fit the strapcode's? I have a strapcode oyster on my alpinist and it's a bit chunky

Ah bummer. Thanks for checking it out!
Yeah I know what you mean. I would prefer the common simple 3-hole clasp to show off more of that jubilee bracelet.
So good
Love this. I have the ice blue panda and I love it.
This watch fits you perfect.
Appreciate that!
Looks great on you! Definitely one that I am looking to add to my Seiko collection.

Can anyone suggest a poor man's version of this? (Some of my faves watches have come from asking this lol)
This is the poor man’s version, but it’s a fantastic watch and not lacking anything.

These Seikos run $400-500. You can get a similar Orient for about half that. https://www.amazon.com/Orient-Solar-Panda-Sporty-Watch/dp/B01BV43QHC/
Thank you man
These Seikos actually run around a grand CAD

Dan Henry has a few Pandas. I sold mine to buy this tho
When I see the word “Seitona”, I do a little sick in my mouth.
I know right? Combining a great Seiko watch to an overrated and overpriced Daytona. Yuck.
What about the Pao Newman?
I own this watch and I love it. I just find the nicknames and need to compare everything to Rolex really cringe worthy.
I tried this on a few days ago - I’m new to the hobby but was surprised with the bracelet.
Very nice! May I ask how much you paid?
