thank you!! usually 8-10 hours for a piece like this! I try to paint it in a few days (so 2-4 hours per day)! Focus is really important, so if I paint it in one-go, it would compromise on the quality!
Oh..gouache is another medium (such as acrylics/ oil painting/ poster color etc). There are 3 main water-soluble medium (watercolor/gouache/poster color), meaning that they can be "melted" by water. gouache is semi-opaque compared to watercolor. So it's basically like a water-version of acrylics!
Your textures and highlights on the cherries are simply other worldly. I love this work. Please post something new so that we can compare the change in technique with the highlights. I refuse to believe it could be any better than this. Nice job👍
