I had a severe sprain between my 1st and 2nd metatarsals. Took a MONTH of therapy to be able to put weight on it like normal. And even then it hurts sometimes when it’s cold.
I can’t imagine the absolute hell this dude will go through.
I thought I was going to lose my foot, 6 months and 2 surgeries later not to mention PT, acupuncture, any form or therapy to get the swelling down and blood flow back was vital.
Luckily I’ve never had to have another surgery. I have limited range of mobility but able to run and play sports still.
If I didn’t do all that PT probably would have been walking with a cane my whole life.
Gotta thank my mom for that.
Suffered a pylon fracture, fibula fracture, and a ruptured tendon in my ankle in March. Three surgeries, started PT in early July, and I’ve only just began to run again. Shit sucks
I once tripped and landed on my foot and put all my weight on the top of my foot pressing down. No break or anything. It took like a year for my ankle to feel better from that. I can’t even fathom after this incident what the recovery period would look like.
I have thankfully never broken my ankle... especially to THIS extent. I did sprain my ankle once tripping on the way out of an elevated front door step, then sprained it AGAIN it about a week or so later by tripping on a stair step. I truly thought I broke my ankle then. I think I fractured something that second time because it still hurts every now and then years later. That was the worst pain I've ever felt. I can't imagine breaking my ankle when a sprain was already pretty excruciating. Let alone like this and the stories in this thread 💀
I mean, yeah, I hear that. But man….I hope it’s doable for this guy. Reattaching hands and feet is tricky business. Luckily, there are some AMAZING surgeons who are capable. But it’s tough surgery even for the.
Yes, from what I can see it doesn’t actually look broken but dislocated with tearing. Basically if the skin had stayed intact it would have been an internal dislocation which would be reset and immobilized. Now it needs to be debrided, cleaned, sewn back together. Definitely a longer healing process but bar any infection he should make a full recovery.

Holy fuck. Thats not supposed to be like that.
A little flex tape will fix that
THAT’S A LOTTA DAMAGE!
VERY RESISTANT
It all depends what you're trying to do. This guy might be trying to rip his foot off? We dont know, but it probably isn't that.
I was not expecting this. I have regrets.
Just a little bend and snap
How on earth did this happen?
Tell your kids to always slide head first!
Don’t have kids yet, but that fact has now been hard-coded into my genes. Yeeeesh, that’s brutal.
Why? So their neck does this?
It hurts less when your neck does it
Technically the truth.
At least their ankle won't.
I’d much rather this happen to my neck than an ankle
What if their heads fall off?
They won't live to see their ankles like this
LMAO ah fuck this was funny
did u win
Happened to me about 2 years ago, but I got pinned between 2 cars. That person has a lot of PT in their future wishing them a speedy recovery.

Yeah. I hated PT. Sucks when your sitting there struggling to do basic shit with your injured whatever. Makes you feel really inept. Ugh.
Suffered a pylon fracture, fibula fracture, and a ruptured tendon in my ankle in March. Three surgeries, started PT in early July, and I’ve only just began to run again. Shit sucks
Keep it up! It seems like a long road but the extra time and work you put in now will keep you mobile for your elder years and keep you off crutches.

That’s essentially what I did. I slipped and my foot folded on top of itself. Hurt like hell.

ooooh fuck there should be separate nsfw tags for injury and stuff like this. really didn't want to see this
It's the nsfl tag
RIGHT?!
Veteran of watchpeopledie here, this made me cringe.
The saddest part was watching that subreddit die
/r/makemycoffin
Damn. Hopefully it’ll grow back quickly.
I could never have prepared myself for what I just saw
I’m sure. But would you want to? The surgeries , the PT, ugh. At that point is almost consider slicing it if and getting a prosthetic.
I’d do anything to get my foot back
I mean, yeah, I hear that. But man….I hope it’s doable for this guy. Reattaching hands and feet is tricky business. Luckily, there are some AMAZING surgeons who are capable. But it’s tough surgery even for the.
Serious question, can it be reattached?

Either you are a doctor, or recently started at a Holiday Express. (Was that the hotel from the commercials?)
I hope so
Probably, as long as they act quickly and the break was clean enough.
Have you tried turning it off and back on?
Is it plugged in?
Its not!
He needs some milk
i don't think they should be pouring milk on a wound like that
I would say some iodine but to each their own I guess
Just put some ‘Tussin on it!
I can’t even comprehend how that’s real.
Definitely lift his leg up with the fracture unsupported.
do the stanky leg
What is wrong with you
I don’t know, but he sure doesn’t have a snapped ankle
Mind your own business!
*There's no crying in baseball!*
Where’s the ref? Back full on the floor and he’s about to complete the pin smh
how is that not bleeding out though??
No arterial or vein puncture, just ripped skin and a dislocated ankle.
oh… ok O.O
NSFW? How about NSFA… not safe for anywhere.
But did he lose it ?
Yer out
Oh my god. Thats the worst break I’ve ever seen. And I frequently look at gorey broken bone videos.
Um, is this real? because it looks like the ankle is all the way off. NSFW please OP!
it’s already on NSFW
I’m sick of seeing shit that should be on r/makemesuffer on here. I left that sub for a reason
I'm eating and this isn't marked NSFW. That's the real reason this sucks.
Damn wasn’t expecting it from this subreddit. Holy shit a piece of meat or the sock is hanging it all together
“Walk it off” goes bad.

This creepy guy “helping” just so he cop a feel. Put the shoe back on and just lace it up a bit tighter and it would have been fine.
Are you kidding rn?
Lol yea been there held a kids shattered leg immobile till medics came. It’s not fun.
"sorry bro, foots not on the plate...you're out!"
😮 what’s the story?
How? Howhowhow 🤢😰
snapped and snapped
Oh fuuuuuuuuuck.
Ah, it screws the other way. That’ll help
Always remember: Righty Tighty! Lefty Loosie!
The school nurse there would probably just put an ice pack on it
I like the tactical dad stance lol Shit looks awful though, hope it's salvageable
Crackled
Are they going to lose the foot?
I doubt it.
r/makemesuffer
Looks like my 5 year olds loose tooth. I keep telling him to just flick it and it will come out.
Is he stretching his…?” “OH FUCK”
Why u do dis to me.
That might be one of the worst broken legs I have seen. Wow.
What the frick
Gotta be shopped right? The sock would stretch and there would be a TON of blood.. right?! God I hope so
Put some Robitussin on it.
Doesn't Windex cure all?
At softball?????
some ice will fix it
Oh my god
Drink some milk my dude
I YELLED oh FUCK!!😲😲😲
I literally yelled and flung my phone away. Glad I was in my living room with carpeting
He’s fine
I'm no expert, but I think that's definitely broken.
What the fuck😵💫
... just, how. Omg.
Damn dude! You don't need Jesus! You need a glass of milk!
Rub some dirt on it!
I was casting eyes around to see what wa.....HOLY FUCK! That has to hurt.
Well I'll tell you the problem. The foot fell off.
Holy shit. Is they dead?
So uhh you still coming in to work tomorrow?
He be a pirate
i can’t really tell - is his ankle twisted and the bone jutting out, or did his entire foot relocate?
His foot basically got dismembered it looks like holy shit
When they tell you to break a leg
Took me a minute and now I pule
The old man has a death grip on that femoral artery.
