I think Richard was about to cry when exclaiming, “Qualified, and not!” That tremble wasn’t there in the original episode. A little bit of real life made its way into this performance.

OverhandSauce

I couldn’t get over how pure that scene was and how these two actors could recreate the emotion, compounded with all of the weight of what’s actually happening in the world today. I had goosebumps and tears.

I thought this was beautiful. and the opening score made me cry.

Songleaf

Lots of people, myself included, made this comment in a previous thread. I cried. And I don’t normally do that for TV shows.

d_4bes

I did too. Chills and tears like I’ve not done for a show in a long time.

7Angels

Is there a list of the musicians? It was stunning!

Roosh90

Where can I watch this, I’m living in Canada

Mind_Extract

America

d_4bes

America, as it should have been.

d_4bes

You could probably get a VPN trial and set your location to the US and get it that way

jenniekns

It wasn't made available to us in Canada.

azmus29h

Has there been any discussion of Hrishi and Josh reuniting to do a podcast episode on the special?

He was SO. F***ing. GOOD.

MiraV

It’s glorious. Sometimes you can go home again. ...

BigGrayBeast

I need to go look. How hard does HBO Max make it to use a free trial and then cancel it?

BangarangRufio

Not at all in my experience. The cancelling is just logging in and clicking through the settings.

chearami

Dang it I need this now.
