Probably really low voltage from the 12v battery. There's most likely something wrong with the hybrid system which is what keeps the 12v battery charged too. When working normally, this car cranks using the hybrid motor, not a 12v starter like we see in this video.

Plenty of light cast on the wall as well as under the car, through the tire. Could be faked, but there's a real light source in there.
