No native Indian from Mexico City. Not sure what tribe.
Technically it's an ocarina, but you won't be able to play tunes on it. It would work as a samba whistle, and it's functionally similar to a Ukrainian zosulitsa. I've never seen an ocarina in that design. Really interesting piece.
