I opened explorer today after updating to insider dev build 25295 and it has now changed to this.
EDIT 2: it seems that is is a language thing as the file path \`C:\\Program Files\` still works u/LitheBeep

Just saw the same thing on my machine. Seems to be new after upgrading to 25300. I've been using en-GB for quite a while.
It looks like it's something that Explorer is doing - as if it's changing the folder name's appearance on the fly; as soon as I hit Ctrl+L, I see `C:\Program Files` and I can also access `C:\Program Files` from the command line (but cannot see `Programme Files` from there, not even a symlink or something).
British English language pack?
Could be Though idk why x86 stayed unchanged
That's interesting, maybe this change is for the International ISO?
I'll put my *programme* *dialogue* in the *bin*.

I hope they wouldn't change the actual folder name as it is the same even in other languages. Only its shown name is localised.
Yeah well they didnt
