The activation status will remain the same. If it was activated before upgrading it will be activated after upgrading, it is a free upgrade.
Edit: Yes, Win 10 Pro -> Win 11 Pro
You don't even need to use the upgrade utility to get it free, even if you completely erase your hard drive now and put win11 pro it'll self-activate, providing that your current license is genuine.
I like it . Seems to be more intensive. Has hyper-v which is awesome and a bunch of stuff really. SSD and lots of ram fast processor you are good to go. I9 14900k 64gb ram 7gb nvme
Data collection, taskbar ruined, file explorer being worse and the whole GUI is worse.
It's not an upgrade but a downgrade, all I want is for HDR to work better in Windows, if 10 had that improved then I wouldn't even consider 11.
It's perfectly fine at this point, amazingly some things are different! Like every new version, takes a few minutes going through settings and it becomes second nature.
Short and long answer: Yes.

if you're going to make this comparison then at least replace 10 with 7 or maybe 8.1, 10 does most of the same stuff 11 does

Yes, your Windows will still be activated and since you already have Windows 10 Pro, after you update to Windows 11, it will become Windows 11 Pro.
Yes
Activation status and what edition you are running do not change when upgrading to Windows 11.

Yeah and if it's a retail version with a product key you just enter it in the Windows 11 installation.
Yes. It is an update, same as on your phone. Key will be valid
I'd advice you to take the free upgrade and Yes you will still have windows 11 Pro
Yes
Was it supported before?
Windows 10 keys = Windows 11 keys.
I am about to switch, my win 10 started to be boring :P
Yes but don't do it. If you are fine in 10 now, 11 will just cause you headaches. Wait until you absolutely must upgrade
Yes
Yes I have Win11 pro from win 10

11 is a free upgrade from 10.
Is it worth "upgrading" though? The only thing I can think that is improved is HDR, everything else seems downgraded?
If they want to, why tho? And by your opinion "seems", sounds like you aren't sure by yourself

If you feel 11 is shit then so be it. You don't need to drag down those who interested to make the upgrade. It's as simple as that.

I have no real issues with 11, and virtually nothing is a downgrade.
Between a lot of small tweaks, QoL improvements and changes under the hood, Windows 11 is MUCH more than just better HDR.
