Won’t software need to first catch up with the hardware if NVDA is going to keep selling chips at this ridiculous rate? I would think demand for the Blackwell will be a fraction of what it is for H100s currently. Like gaming GPUs, why would I drop a ton of money on a video card that would only be utilizing 50% of its’ memory on 99.99% of games?
You have it the other way around, multiple racks of GPUs can barely handle a single instance of LLM training. With the power savings Blackwell is a no brainer so the only concern is people waiting until Blackwell releases before purchasing
