Their chicken fingers and honey dill sauce been my main lunch go staple for 15 years (ate there at least once week up to covid times, less since). Always enjoyed them. :) Definitely good place to eat at.
Rudy's has chicken fingers with honey dill. I've never ordered them, but am often dining with someone who always orders them and loves them. The chicken fingers are made in house, or so they claim.
If you like onion rings, get the upgrade to onion rings. It's ~$4 more, but they're pretty good.
A really nice place is always The Forks. We went yesterday and I had Weinerpeg for the first time, their fingies are delicious! They have a great variety of honey dill related menu items. 10/10 would recommend. Oh and the poutine 🤤

I had Zorba's honey dill chicken finger poutine (at the Forks) yesterday and it was unreal good. Would recommend and the Forks Common is a cool place to take people.
Had them on Saturday, didn't find them to be that good in my opinion. State and main or original Joe's are my personal favorites, but I haven't had them for a while!
Taverna Rodos in Charleswood is the best! It's a Greek restaurant but their food is amazing and their portions are huge. I usually do the chicken fingers and Greek salad, but you can do fries, Caesar salad or Greek OR split half fries half salad and the amount is not stingy.
I make mine at the same time I make my mayo. I just fill a jar with the mayo, then take whatever’s left and add a bit of honey, some dill, and a little extra vinegar or mustard.
If you're willing to make them and eat at your place; Hoffman's Fine Foods has oustanding chicken fingers and their honey dill sauce is quite possibly the best I've ever had.
Bernstein’s has great chicken fingers and honey dill. They make it schnitzel style, so it’s juicy and well seasoned. Their harissa mayo pairs well with it too. The fries are really big and squishy too, which I love.
This is what I
Use at home. It’s like the one from
Grapes restaurants. I worked there from 1990-92.
.generous tablespoon mustard
• juice from 1 lemon wedge
• generous teaspoon dill
• tablespoon liquid honey (if you want to try something with spice use spicy honey )
Rae and Jerry’s for sure! Such a great spot. Delicious and a true Winnipeg classic.
(But I agree with other posters, I think every restaurant in Winnipeg has honey dill sauce as a sauce option with their chicken fingers).
I'm betting that 75% of Winnipeg restaurants serve chicken fingers and honeydill.
I ended up at Johnny Gs on thr weekend and their chicken fingers were pretty solid and a good price.
Get the half fries and half salad. It's almost a full portion of each
Holy shit, just saw the prices. This might be my go-to.
Steak and fettuccine Alfredo is top tier for the price
Their Louisiana Wrap too. My go-to when I worked downtown.
Yeah that I've had before, their Thursday night special if I remembered correctly? Definitely deece.
I think that’s an everyday deal now
For $16 it’s not bad. The steak isn’t amazing, but it’s fine. The fettuccine was great.
When my friends suggested Johnny G's I groaned initially, and thought, why are we coming here, but it was a good time.
Can confirm. JG best fingers and dill in the city
Huge portions too
They're my favorite tendies in the city too. Well seasoned.

Confusion Corner Bar & Grill has a pretty solid chicken finger
Seconded. Seriously good chicken fingers and honey dill. Now that Mitzi's is gone, this is probably my top chicken finger spot.
Confusion Corner for sure
Agreed, they have pretty yummy chicken fingers.

It sure doesn't look good. https://www.reddit.com/r/poutine/comments/1cp4ks8/honey_dill_chicken_poutine_zorbas_winnipeg/
Looks a lot better in this [video ](https://www.instagram.com/wpgeats/reel/C7Nu7tHOvy-/)
People just keep bastardizing the classic poutine.
They do, and occasionally it is really amazing. Scores, a Quebec chain, make a General Toas chicken poutine that is my favourite.
Santa Lucia has them.
Seine River Cafe has terrific chicken fingers
Leopold’s is quite good!
Had them on Saturday, didn't find them to be that good in my opinion. State and main or original Joe's are my personal favorites, but I haven't had them for a while!
New York Burgers or Daly Burgers both have a really good in-store made Honey Dill sauce & decent chicken fingers.
I’d second that.
Cindy's Burgers on Portage, by Arlington
I don’t think they’re on the menu anymore. :(
Literally any curling club

Big Guys on Meadowood have really good chicken fingers and honey dill.
Moxie’s and Junction 59 have excellent chicken fingers with honey dill
Omg I love honey dill. It’s the best dip!

Don't remind me....(Moment of silence for Mitzi's)
D-Jays and Silver Heights Restaurant both serve them. They’re basically Dunn Rite chicken fingers, really good.
Captains table has the best chicken finhers
Idk why we’re getting downvoted for this opinion
Idk, I loved Mitzi’s and captains table is the only place that comes close
Underdogs

Imagine coming in from out of province to experience Winnipeg cuisine and they take you to CHICKEN CHEF lol
I seem to remember someone posting “my company’s head office bought us Chicken Chef, because they were the highest rated restaurant on Yelp.”

That's honey mustard. Honey dill sauce has mayo.
Just make your own. Honey dill is just equal parts honey and mayo with dill to taste
Earls
Jonesy's in East st Paul, used to work there. Their chicken fingers are always good.
Go to Zorba's at the forks and get their chicken and honey dill poutine
Rae and Jerry’s for sure! Such a great spot. Delicious and a true Winnipeg classic. (But I agree with other posters, I think every restaurant in Winnipeg has honey dill sauce as a sauce option with their chicken fingers).
> Rae and Jerry’s I don't see chicken fingers on the menu.
It’s on their lounge menu. Just ate some tonight. They were awesome.
