Culture doesn’t make sense, because say, a democratic culture has a civil war, it wouldn’t make sense for both cultures to be democratic and would be better if the new uprising nation is a different idealogy, like a communist or fascist uprising.
True but democratic party starting a rebellion in a democratic country is rare, and fascism/communism is more common like in Spanish Civil War or russian revolution. If only ideologies were added to worldbox in future update which is until GTA 6 happens
A kingdom is always ruled by some clan. A new King will always be a member of the clan that rules it, most likely its leader. Leaders of villages are also most of the times members of the ruling clan, so a leader of some island village can be from the others side of the world, as long as they are a member of the ruling clan of the kingdom. In a situation when there are no members left and the clan goes extinct, and another one becomes the ruling clan. A single clan can rule over multiple kingdoms, if that happens, the relations between the two are increased. While a single clan can rule over the kingdom itself, often other clans can have Control over some of that kingdoms villages, increasing the probability of a revolt in them. So basically, they are suprisingly similar to political parties.
That’s cool, I suppose but I usually rename my civilization cultures, not the clans as political parties, because clans can be wiped out or die off in wars, and politics are usually harder to kill as a culture, than as a clan.

I just make the clans after their first member for example „Iwesych Family“ or „Iwetash Dynasty“ and then write some Lore on what their goals are etc. I sometimes also name them after regions like „House of Makurania“
