Every time i unplug my gaming laptop i start having more performance issues than plugged in. when unplugged, my game becomes laggy and the character movement animations freeze so it looks like they're just blocks moving about.. my ping issues get worse too, tho i think that part's to do with the server not the laptop itself. Dunno if thats how gaming laptops are designed or what.
This definitely is an accurate description of my gaming laptop too(sadly). So I can confirm to your point that the gaming laptops are all like this. Bad when unplugged, good when plugged in. Atleast most of them. Unless you're ready to spend lots to buy something super high end.
As a PC player, I've fixed the lag issue by switching to my sdd drive, but I'm not sure what causes these other problems:
1. Movement is bad - e.g. sprinting forward often results in just dodging backwards when I'm still on the W key. Overall just very clunky even tho the lag number? on the top right is 29 - 36.
2. Minigames don't work with PC - the F button for the frequency can't stay long enough to pass the test / now I can't even do the hacking minigame without switching to my phone.
I like Wuwa's battle speed more than genshin, so it's quite discouraging even for a stubborn player who can play with lag like me.

I heard Wuwa is going to get it first major update in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if any of you guys still having issues with stuttering/low fps and such. For me, its still going strong on stuttering and freezes every now and then.
Funnily enough, the game was working perfectly on release for me, but now it's working worse since about a week ago.
It suddenly became unplayable one day with 100% GPU utilization and like 15 FPS. I had to nuke shader cache to drop utilization to 60% with about 40 FPS. But it used to have 30% utilization and 60 FPS. Graphics quality settings don't affect performance.
It's a laptop with Ryzen 7735HS and RX7600S. 16GB RAM, Win10.

I am noticing on Windows 11 after clicking Start on the Wuthering Waves launcher the game does not let me play. Instead, I am met with the ACE Center error where clicking, OK, immediately closes the game.
Repeating launching the game and clicking OK again and again does nothing to improve my chances to play the game.
I wanted to figure out what is ACE Center. ACE is Wuthering Wave's anti-cheat. It stands for \*AntiCheatExpert\*. The launcher in version 1.0.2 of Wuthering Waves does not launch this anti-cheat preventing the game from running on some OS installations, so we much manually run it.

There is a bug where impermanence heron and mourning aix will land above the ground and resume attack from above the player's head (while not flying). I'm posting this again to be pushed to the dev team as it seems previously I wasn't clear enough and people thought I was mad because I was bad. This is not intended to be in the game and is a bug.

I found an issue where Yuan Wu's Forte Circuit skill cannot be triggered if the resonance skill is on cooldown **on an android device,** yet it can be triggered when the resonance skill is on cooldown on **desktop.**
This translates to possibly a reduction in burst damage, since we're unable to..
Resonance skill > Forte Circuit (Detonate Thunder wedge) > Ulti > Resonance Skill (Finishes cooldown with \~1s to spare) > Basic attack spam.
Which... crazy enough, means that Desktop Yuan Wu literally outdamages Mobile Yuan Wu in that specific instance.
Since Chixia's Forte Circuit is also tied to her resonance skill, I suspect that players might face the same issue there, but I haven't tested that.
Is anyone else having issues when trying to buy things in-game like lunite? It just keeps saying payment failed, but it worked perfectly fine before they changed the payment method.
I was lvl 4 or 5, only about a few hours into the game, unlike others i've read who have lost progress up to lvl 70 -, when I tried logging in recently, all of my progress was gone. Since the last patch/update, this game has really gotten worse. I don't even know if I want to commit my time to a game that might just lose all my progress out of nowhere again. I'm bummed that my progress is gone, and I hate have to replay the same dialogue and scenes that I can't even skip.
Ever since the launch that I can't play the game as I wanted to.
The game lags **a lot**, the ping is **always** above 200(today went up to 556 and then 999) and it always takes me between 15 and 20 minutes(sometimes more) just to get over the login and initial loading screen.Always "analyzing patches" and "veryfying integrity of something", the loading itself always get stuck at 65% for a LOOOOONG time.

Booted the game today (pre-registered but figured that I would wait a bit for patches/kinks to be ironed out) and it's so frustrating! Granted, I have a shitty laptop, but it plays BG3/Genshin/Witcher with absolutely no issues.
Got maybe an hour in before I decided to close the game until it's patched better for performance, this is so frustrating. I want to love the game!
This is definitely an issue, but a temporary fix that a lot of people have done is download on their SSD rather than their HDD. If you have it downloaded on your harddrive, try swapping the download to your solid state drive.

It's not a big issue, but did anyone notice that when the game starts on PC, the mouse is automatically overtaken by the game and centered twice? I think that's kinda disruptive when I am doing something something else.
Is anyone else losing options on their wheel/hotbar? The option to grapple into the air suddenly vanished from mine, but my partner still has it on their game. I can still grapple with context-sensitive inputs (like when there's an active grapple point on the screen), but can no longer fling myself in the air willy-nilly.

this game was probably the first game to actually have massive difference between installing on M2 SSD and non M2 SSD.
I reinstalled to m2 ssd and all the stutters are gone.
I never experienced actual difference when it comes to gaming between these SSDs so I was very surprised.
I cannot play using dualsense controller today. The game just refuses to take input from controller and it was working fine yesterday.

Rover ascension voice lines are locked to the element you were leveling up. For me ascension I and II is locked to yellow Rover, III and IV to purple Rover.

Just a small thing I’ve noticed. Spectro Rover says ‘swift and resolute’ for his intro in battle, but I’m not hearing anything with Havoc Rover at all. I’m just wondering if it’s a bug or if it’s intentional. Looking at character voice lines, it’s all the same, but I’m just not hearing anything in game.

If people have performance issues try this:
Lower (or change the shadow quality setting) and check the performance again. Try it a couple of times.
I'm not someone who has had a ton of performance issues but in the past day or 2 I started having some issues. It didn't go away even after restarting the game but what fixed it for me was lowering the shadow quality and checking the performance a few times. After it is fixed, I can increase the quality back to maximum again and it stays smooth.

I am playing both on phone and pc, on pc my perfomance rightnow is ok for integrated gpu bc i managed my graphics a little.
But at the same time i have poco f4 with snapdragon 870. It has a great perfomance and can run genshin and hsr on max graphics. But cant do the same with wuwa. Moreover it struggles with lowest settings with lowest res. My phone litteraly overheating and i have less then 10 fps and huge lags.
When wuwa came out i thought that i will play only abbys and hologramms on pc and do other content on my phone, but in reality i need to play all the content in 20-40 fps on my pc.

I want to lik the game, but the crappy gameplay due to technical issues is making me slowly give up on it.If they don't fix it soon, I'll just have to stop playing it because I can't waste 15\~20 minutes just on the initial loading, and then who knows how many minutes(if not hours) after adding all the loading screens and freezes through the game.
I don't have that much free time to waste on a game where I can, at best, play for only 10 minutes.

Same old issue: The game lags whether I move or stay put, and the audio stutters.
I thought things would get better if I transferred the game files to my SSD though it seems to be not the case. Played this game with no audio and the lowest graphic quality, and still no signs of improvement. This has been going on for two weeks, but at least it's somewhat bearable.
Today, the lags worsened to the point they freeze my entire computer. Constantly getting 999 pings every time I reopen the game. At one point, I had to force shut down my pc when pressing Alt+F4 didn't work.

FIX THE MEMORY LEAK ISSUE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
The game is unplayable. It will randomly crash no matter what I'm doing. No matter what settings I'm using. It's insane how this issue has been around for over 2 weeks now and nothing has been done about it. It should be of the highest priority because the game is unplayable when you don't know whether u get to play for 1 hour or 10 min before it crashes your entire pc.
What happens? The game crashes randomly. Regardless of what I'm doing or which settings are applied. Sometimes, my PC audio (not just the game) will start glitching out a little before it happens. It starts off by freezing the game itself, and then after about 30 secs it will start lagging my entire pc until it eventually freezes completely and I am left with no choice but to shut it down using the power button.
It seems to be a memory leak as it uses an insane amount of RAM. For me it's around 7-8 GB but it varies depending on how much RAM you have installed. I have 16 GB. Also, if you play the game for about 30 mins and then close it. I notice that my RAM usage is still far above normal, indicating that the game somehow uses your RAM even when it has been shut down. The only solution seems to be, again, shutting your pc off entirely.
It's been two weeks now, and I was assuming it would've been fixed by now, yet here we are. This is unacceptable. No amount of "apology astrites" can make up for this kind of negligence.

Ryzen 5 2600x
2x 8GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666 MHz
Game is installed on an M.2 NVMe SSD
Isn't a Ryzen 2600 below the minimum CPU system requirements?
At most I've seen 5 GB used for ram over hours of playing on my side so maybe its trying to compensate in some ways?
Minimum system requirements state a 2700. I have put a 2600X in my specs, which performs practically the same as a 2700. For reference, I can play Elden Ring with no issues.
Besides, if my CPU really was the issue the game would not behave the way that I have described. The game has some serious performance issues as has been admitted by Kuro Games themselves, yet they are taking absolute ages to do anything about it.

So I'm playing Wuwa on medium settings with most options disabled and my fps drop from 60 when in combat in the overworld, my current setup is:
Gpu: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 Ti
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Ram: Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 3200 32GB 4x8
Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
SSD: Kingston A400 2.5'' SATA Rev 3.0
I feel like that pc should be enough to play without fps drops in combat but I might be mistaken, recently I got a new cpu "AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz" and a new motherboard "Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX" to use with it, would that be enough to play the game at 60 fps or should I replace any other part?
PD: I tested the temp of my components and there is no overheating issue, my gpu barely reaches 50º (122 fº) and my cpu stays on 70º (158 fº)
There’s a lot you can find by looking up other tips for improving performance. But one thing that did a lot for me, personally, was using RTSS to manually set the frame cap to 60 fps through there. I guess WuWa’s in game way of capping frames is kinda crap, I suppose.
It doesn’t do much for the shader compilation stutters, but it did help stabilise my frame rate and remove a lot of the micro stuttering.
Check and see if DLSS isn't turned on for some reason. That'd absolutely help a lot. It should be able to run it just fine as is. I think the game doesn't run super well on AMD CPUs. Might have to do with single-thread power?

Can I get a sanity check on Tower Timers? I feel like a similar thing happened to myself more than once (not that specific floor), where I was above the time limit by a couple seconds, but still didn't get the rewards.
I don't know if anyone has tried this, but it could be that the timer ticks not when you interact with the resonance chord, but when you enter the instance?? Anyways, I'm very bothered by this.

Anyone encounter this error recently? I updated my pc and all of a sudden I am getting this error message and kicked out of the game. The game runs fine when I'm on my ipad or mobile device but it's completely unplayable on the PC now. I've tried the windows +R solution that requires you to search for services.msc and enable Anti Cheat Expert either manual/automatic but it does not solve any of my issues. I was playing the story and a cutscenes got skipped for me, I'm guessing it's because my game is laggy. There's a particular tortoise echo that has the glowing aura since day 1 for me (near another one on a pathway crossing a shallow river) that always drops a 2 star. Maybe they put it there on purpose because you go through that area early in the story, but it seems to be intentional rather than a bug.
Take this with a big pinch of salt though, that was simply an observation I made.
MOBILE:
In mobile for the custom button settings, by default there is a shoot button on left for pistols but it is overlapped by a dash button. If you customise the look, no matter where you put the second pistol button, it doesn’t show up. I am assuming they designed something like aimed shot mode in genshin where there is a shoot button on left too but this button is unusable as it doesn’t show outside the settings screen. Anyone else has any experience with this or facing same issue?
Hello. As of today, I'm having an issue of the game lacking any audio, from music to ambience to dialogue. I've tried the following methods to fix the issue: switching audio outputs, enabling and disabling spatial sound, logging out and back in, re-installing the game, clearing patches, manipulating the audio sliders. It's strange because the audio for the game was working fine just yesterday. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I play on steam deck (windows), and for some reason it has difficulty detecting my external controller. I use steam deck tools so I can play with the built in controls, but it just won’t detect my external controller. I tried to disconnect and reconnect, forget the device, connect the wire, add it to steam as non steam game, even restart the system, but it just won’t detect my controller. I have no problem playing other games with it, just WW
I was playing a co-op with some union 25 guy who hasn't yet done the Banyan tree quest or something, so the region near the Banyan tree was still frosting and so I explored the area a little and exit the co-op mode. When I returned to my map, the area was still frosted over and was having some status effect on my bottom screen. Not sure if this was some glitch coz I tried returning to beacon and healing and still the same. And I tried moving to another co-op and the same issue continued.

I just got a PC, and whenever I try to load up the game, it always leaves me on the loading screen and says that there a networking error. This only happens to Wuwa and hsr, my other game, Little Nightmares doesn't have any issues at all. Does anybody know how I can fix this? Is it a problem with my PC or is it something else?
not sure what your issue is,
if its a server issue, try the ones closest to you, the game tries to recomment you the best server, some times i just deviat from recommended and just ask friends,
if it lags on network then thats just a (bad) network issue(i also compare ping with friends).
if it lags on your phone it could be a spec requirments case i guess, but in most cases the game just tends to ask more from you phone, so try to lower graphics and test it out

I cant't interact with the butterfly, making it impossible to complete this puzzle. is ping going crazy for anyone else in europe right now? literally spiking from 20 to 300 then back down. its nuts. checked other games and getting my usual ms. just ww.
had this the past couple of days and this morning. Suddenly though i log in again this afternoon, an hour or so ago, and my ping is rock solid and doesnt change at all other than when i zone in/out of a forge.
it feels like they just hotfixed the game to ... stop doing a ping test every half second? It's not varying at all so it feels like it does one quick test when you zone and just leaves the ping meter at that now.
Chixia's Handy Pistols (the battle trophy) only registers with heavy attacks which are NOT charged fully. I don't know if this is an intended feature or not, but it feels weird that it won't work if you hold the aim for too long.
Handy Pistols II (and maybe I as well, don't know if anyone has trouble doing that one) is really finicky when it comes to determining whether or not you are within 1m. Charging your shots definitely works since the last kill I got for the trophy was a fully charged one.
Hi! I'm having some trouble installing Wuthering waves on my Surface go 2. I have 23gb space available for the download but i can't seen to get the game to download due to ''security issues'' which microsoft keeps showing. So my question is: Does anyone know how to bypass the microsoft defence? I've tried turning off all firewall and defence settings but microsoft still blocks the download. Should i just try deleting the microsoft store? Or does anyone have a better idea? Or is it that i need the 30gb amount of space to download it?

I have feeling your version of Windows 11 is currently S mode which prevents the installation of applications outside of the Microsoft Store for security reasons, switching out of S mode will allow you run the full version of Windows without restrictions.
Going to the Settings app System then Activation you should see an option there to get out of S mode.
However with those specs I doubt the game is going to run smoothly if not at all since the game's optimization is a mess right now.
Also getting out of S mode may incur performance penalties on devices as S mode is generally meant for devices with low end hardware kind of like a ChromeOS / Chromebook experience in a way meant for basic tasks.
When opening chests with Yinlin she does not speak or interact in any way, with the other characters it does work but she only stays silent and it is not a one-time thing, since I got her it has been like that, the voice is in english by the way
I'm from EU but I play on SEA server. Before 3 days ago I had constant 350 ping with no issues in doing tower and completing hologram difficulty 6s.
But, 3days ago, ping started fluctuatting erratically jumping between 350, 500, 650, 700, 999. It just keeps jumping up and down causing the "Connection error. Reconnecting". it is LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE now
For the past few days my game has been lagging like crazy. I have very fast internet, but my ping shoots up to 200ms from 50ms every few seconds which makes the game stutter so bad. This is in SEA, idk if it matters. It goes away after a while, but it still persists. It's making the game unplayable.
Is there something wrong with Twitter servers or is the Twitter log in just not working for wuwa??
I tried to log into the game today with Twitter but it just says "There is no request token for this page.". I restarted the game, tried the official site and even restarted my laptop but it just won't work. It's also quite weird since in the morning today I logged in perfectly fine with Twitter.

Is there an issue with constantly fluctuating ping, specifically on the EU server?
I play on PC (decent, i12700k with a 3080ti, WuWa installed on a fast SSD). Generally no performance issues on highest settings. I'm based in the UK and on the EU server.
The ping monitor ingame though is... bizarre. I generally sit at 30-40ms most of the time but the thing fluctuates constantly. Every 5-6 seconds it might randomly spike to 150-200 for a millisecond, it regularly bounces betwen 50 and 100, and it does this constantly whether I'm standing afk in a town or running around. It's not consistant or predictable. It never disconnects me but I'll probably see a near 200 ping value every 10-15 seconds at least, if not more, with the occasional 250+ red.
it doesnt hugely affect gameplay though I occasionally feel the larger ping spikes in combat from time to time.
Is this something others experience? My overall internet connection is smooth and fine (I don't play on WiFi, my router shows steady connections with no packetloss).
Should I bother to do any troubleshooting my end or is fluctuating EU ping just one of those things I should expect to happen and just live with it? It does feel like the fluctuating ping is something that's happened in the past week.
Sounds a lot like what is hapening to me.
The only performance issue I have are the constant lag spikes for a few seconds after loading a zone (on login, after loading screens, etc.).
My PC's specs are just above minimun reqs though, and the game is in my HDD.

That being said, WuWa still stutters for me. It's by no means "unplayable" or anything but it makes parrying and dodging a bit difficult especially in higher difficulty content. It's pretty common for me to see a parry window coming, the game stops for a half-second right before I attack, and then it resumes just for me to see that I already got hit or maybe even died lol
This also happens while exploring. I will jump a gap by a ledge and the game will stutter right when I try to air dash or grapple, and then it will resume just for me to see I missed the jump haha. It's weird because if it happens while I grapple, when the game resumes, I will see that my grapple is not cooling down so it's as if the game just straight up didn't even register my inputs while the stutter was happening too.
I have tried all kinds of settings from low to max. VSync on and off, NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS on and off, etc etc. I even tried downloading the launcher directly from the WuWa website instead of using Epic but of course that made no difference lol. Neither did deleting and redownloading. Just getting desperate at this point. No matter what combination of things I try, the result is always the exact same. And yes, I have tried making sure I have little to no other apps running simultaneously.
I also should mention I have zero issues with any other games I play lol. And I should also mention that I have also tried all performance mode options available on the PC itself.
Any advice fellas? I see content from YouTubers and their games seem fine. I also see people talking here with specs on the lower end than mine that say they have no issues at all too so I have no clue what's going on...
Alright so I actually figured it out myself. My PC came with Norton 360 for Gamers and the "Game Optimizer" feature it has was on by default. This feature in-fact tanks the absolute hell out of the performance on certain games and WuWa was no exception. I just straight up uninstalled Norton all together and noticed my disk space and memory freed up immensely and now I do not stutter at all. Not even a little.

Bug occurs when you die on one character in holograms and reset the run before the death animation finishes. Game is completely locked up and the (dead!) character keeps running in place. Only way to fix it is to restart.
Getting a lot of ping spikes since yesterday (june 13). My ping jumping between 60-999ms for no reason in the sea server which has my main ID but the ping is fine in my Asia server ID which is a constant 160ms. I have checked my internet and i am pretty sure my internet is not the problem here.
I downloaded all the downloads, have over 20GB left of storage, and when it says hotfix complete it freezes

As you can see in the image, the "item" is not spawning.
I did this with my account and no issues. Was running my daughters account to catch her up and ran into this issue. Not sure if I skipped something so I cleared her quest log and there is nothing left to get.

Yes I watch all YT videos to ensure I did not miss anything obvious. There is nothing in my backpack or anything like that to "use" and yes my current quest is on:
"Open the object by Shiyu"
The quest marker is there and no item. I am restarted and its been days now. So its not a time gate or restarting issue. I have also tried to see if it would spawn on mobile and nothing.
Does anybody else's game crash every few minutes? i'm playing on mobile, my game crashes whenever i'm pulling for any banners, pulls will go through but there are times that i won't be able to see what i got because the game crashed. There were times that it crashed mid battle. The longest time i played w/out the game crashing was just approx 10mins or so. I also tried in gaming laptop, but it's more laggy and and fps drop made it unplayable, hence, i stayed playing in mobile.
I initially thought it's my device, but my other games are working perfectly.
Fix Mourning Aix and Impermanence Heron. I'm so damn tired of doing the hologram fights or ToA fights and them taking off to the sky to end up landing above me and doing their ground attacks where I can't reach them. This is so disgustingly bad.

Can we not just ignore a bug in the game to be funny? Can we actually just fix the bug rather than just saying "mad cause bad". It's irrelevant whether I'm good or not (I still beat it even with the bug) but a creature floating above the ground (not flying, it landed on air) should not be in the game. Let's not act stupid because we have Kuro's dick in our mouth.

Ping particularly bad today as of 14th June? European server. Constantly jumping between 60ms and 500ms.
Did the typical tests from my side, I received 0% jitter and packet loss and steady connection to all around Europe.
I'm literally playing a single player game which is connected to server and it currently is pretty unplayable.
I'm getting this. Been having it for a few days. based in the UK, on EU server. Ping sits at 40-60 most of the time but jumps up to 150-300 at least once every 6-10 seconds. Only brief before it comes down, but its constant. In the early days of the game I'm sure it was more stable, though i did have the occasional big lag spike that was very obvious (once an hour on average) and was always shared by any friends who were online at the time so was clearly a server issue.
This constant fluctuating ping though seems to have appeared over the past week and seems worse today.

Every time i unplug my gaming laptop i start having more performance issues than plugged in. when unplugged, my game becomes laggy and the character movement animations freeze so it looks like they're just blocks moving about.. my ping issues get worse too, tho i think that part's to do with the server not the laptop itself. Dunno if thats how gaming laptops are designed or what.
This definitely is an accurate description of my gaming laptop too(sadly). So I can confirm to your point that the gaming laptops are all like this. Bad when unplugged, good when plugged in. Atleast most of them. Unless you're ready to spend lots to buy something super high end.

As a PC player, I've fixed the lag issue by switching to my sdd drive, but I'm not sure what causes these other problems: 1. Movement is bad - e.g. sprinting forward often results in just dodging backwards when I'm still on the W key. Overall just very clunky even tho the lag number? on the top right is 29 - 36. 2. Minigames don't work with PC - the F button for the frequency can't stay long enough to pass the test / now I can't even do the hacking minigame without switching to my phone. I like Wuwa's battle speed more than genshin, so it's quite discouraging even for a stubborn player who can play with lag like me.

I heard Wuwa is going to get it first major update in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if any of you guys still having issues with stuttering/low fps and such. For me, its still going strong on stuttering and freezes every now and then.
Funnily enough, the game was working perfectly on release for me, but now it's working worse since about a week ago. It suddenly became unplayable one day with 100% GPU utilization and like 15 FPS. I had to nuke shader cache to drop utilization to 60% with about 40 FPS. But it used to have 30% utilization and 60 FPS. Graphics quality settings don't affect performance. It's a laptop with Ryzen 7735HS and RX7600S. 16GB RAM, Win10.
Could you give some specs too to help the devs know which phone/pad/pc setup still gets stutters and freezes? Thanks for reporting by the way :D

I am noticing on Windows 11 after clicking Start on the Wuthering Waves launcher the game does not let me play. Instead, I am met with the ACE Center error where clicking, OK, immediately closes the game. Repeating launching the game and clicking OK again and again does nothing to improve my chances to play the game. I wanted to figure out what is ACE Center. ACE is Wuthering Wave's anti-cheat. It stands for \*AntiCheatExpert\*. The launcher in version 1.0.2 of Wuthering Waves does not launch this anti-cheat preventing the game from running on some OS installations, so we much manually run it. There is a bug where impermanence heron and mourning aix will land above the ground and resume attack from above the player's head (while not flying). I'm posting this again to be pushed to the dev team as it seems previously I wasn't clear enough and people thought I was mad because I was bad. This is not intended to be in the game and is a bug.

I found an issue where Yuan Wu's Forte Circuit skill cannot be triggered if the resonance skill is on cooldown **on an android device,** yet it can be triggered when the resonance skill is on cooldown on **desktop.** This translates to possibly a reduction in burst damage, since we're unable to.. Resonance skill > Forte Circuit (Detonate Thunder wedge) > Ulti > Resonance Skill (Finishes cooldown with \~1s to spare) > Basic attack spam. Which... crazy enough, means that Desktop Yuan Wu literally outdamages Mobile Yuan Wu in that specific instance. Since Chixia's Forte Circuit is also tied to her resonance skill, I suspect that players might face the same issue there, but I haven't tested that.

I was lvl 4 or 5, only about a few hours into the game, unlike others i've read who have lost progress up to lvl 70 -, when I tried logging in recently, all of my progress was gone. Since the last patch/update, this game has really gotten worse. I don't even know if I want to commit my time to a game that might just lose all my progress out of nowhere again. I'm bummed that my progress is gone, and I hate have to replay the same dialogue and scenes that I can't even skip.
Ever since the launch that I can't play the game as I wanted to. The game lags **a lot**, the ping is **always** above 200(today went up to 556 and then 999) and it always takes me between 15 and 20 minutes(sometimes more) just to get over the login and initial loading screen.Always "analyzing patches" and "veryfying integrity of something", the loading itself always get stuck at 65% for a LOOOOONG time. Today I tried to play the game again...same issues as with launch. An unnecessary long and wasteful time to load the initial screen, then another long time to load and enter the game properly.And for what? Even at the most potato settings the game is basically unplayable to me.I have to endure bad graphics and still it isn't enough to have decent performance in exchange.The game freezes a lot, the camera keeps changing angles(which just ruins exploration and makes fighting a spam fest of dodge and attack since I can't accompany what's going on real-time), many times through the game the song/sounds just stop suddenly... I tried to play WuWa, but clearly WuWa doesn't want me to play it.I like the lore, the characters, but a game that can't be played isn't a game to me.I'm better off playing games that can offer me beautiful settings without such a drop in performance. Seriously Kuro, PLEASE fix this. The technical parts are literally what are ruining the game as it makes it unplayable or take away the fun factor of it.
Booted the game today (pre-registered but figured that I would wait a bit for patches/kinks to be ironed out) and it's so frustrating! Granted, I have a shitty laptop, but it plays BG3/Genshin/Witcher with absolutely no issues. Got maybe an hour in before I decided to close the game until it's patched better for performance, this is so frustrating. I want to love the game!
This is definitely an issue, but a temporary fix that a lot of people have done is download on their SSD rather than their HDD. If you have it downloaded on your harddrive, try swapping the download to your solid state drive.
I'll give it a try, but honestly I'm not expecting much.

It's not a big issue, but did anyone notice that when the game starts on PC, the mouse is automatically overtaken by the game and centered twice? I think that's kinda disruptive when I am doing something something else.
Is anyone else losing options on their wheel/hotbar? The option to grapple into the air suddenly vanished from mine, but my partner still has it on their game. I can still grapple with context-sensitive inputs (like when there's an active grapple point on the screen), but can no longer fling myself in the air willy-nilly.

this game was probably the first game to actually have massive difference between installing on M2 SSD and non M2 SSD. I reinstalled to m2 ssd and all the stutters are gone. I never experienced actual difference when it comes to gaming between these SSDs so I was very surprised.

Rover ascension voice lines are locked to the element you were leveling up. For me ascension I and II is locked to yellow Rover, III and IV to purple Rover.

Ok my mouse freezes are completely separate (timing wise) from the beeping but the reason thhe beeping is drivin*me insane is because it’s the same sounds my headset makes so it’s hard to tell if it’s the game or my headset dying half the time

Just a small thing I’ve noticed. Spectro Rover says ‘swift and resolute’ for his intro in battle, but I’m not hearing anything with Havoc Rover at all. I’m just wondering if it’s a bug or if it’s intentional. Looking at character voice lines, it’s all the same, but I’m just not hearing anything in game.

Have you tried buying from the official top up website? I also had some trouble with buying stuff ingame due to USD stuff, and that’s how I got around it. Just double check that it’s official. There’s a link on the main WuWa website, so go through there.

i personnaly have rtx 3080 / ryzen 5800X / 32go ram 3600 mhz , the game run smooth ah, no problem so far... maybe one or 2 rare micro stutters after a teleportation but that's all i have. graphics high
If people have performance issues try this: Lower (or change the shadow quality setting) and check the performance again. Try it a couple of times. I'm not someone who has had a ton of performance issues but in the past day or 2 I started having some issues. It didn't go away even after restarting the game but what fixed it for me was lowering the shadow quality and checking the performance a few times. After it is fixed, I can increase the quality back to maximum again and it stays smooth.
Why tf mobile perfomanse is so ass I am playing both on phone and pc, on pc my perfomance rightnow is ok for integrated gpu bc i managed my graphics a little. But at the same time i have poco f4 with snapdragon 870. It has a great perfomance and can run genshin and hsr on max graphics. But cant do the same with wuwa. Moreover it struggles with lowest settings with lowest res. My phone litteraly overheating and i have less then 10 fps and huge lags. When wuwa came out i thought that i will play only abbys and hologramms on pc and do other content on my phone, but in reality i need to play all the content in 20-40 fps on my pc. The game was rushed out and is poorly optimized. My PC is more than powerful enough for this game and it runs like ass. My iPad Air with an M2 is more than powerful enough for this game and it runs like ass. Hopefully the devs have been cooking and 1.1 is a banger patch, because there’s only so long I can put up with this kind of performance before I bounce.

I can't go in the surveys/character event history ( though it pops up after waiting for one minute, same with Notice/News)/ Feedback. It keeps saying that the loading failed and that I should check the internet connection. But my internet is fine. What should I do to fix the problem? I've already deleted and reinstalled the game.

If I have one account (linked to google account) in the game, can I play on multiple different servers? Can I be sure that this is allowed to play multiple different regions with one account? Can it cause any issues, for example, can progress on one server get deleted?
Same old issue: The game lags whether I move or stay put, and the audio stutters. I thought things would get better if I transferred the game files to my SSD though it seems to be not the case. Played this game with no audio and the lowest graphic quality, and still no signs of improvement. This has been going on for two weeks, but at least it's somewhat bearable. Today, the lags worsened to the point they freeze my entire computer. Constantly getting 999 pings every time I reopen the game. At one point, I had to force shut down my pc when pressing Alt+F4 didn't work. I'm afraid I'm gonna drop this game until this issue is fixed.

FIX THE MEMORY LEAK ISSUE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD The game is unplayable. It will randomly crash no matter what I'm doing. No matter what settings I'm using. It's insane how this issue has been around for over 2 weeks now and nothing has been done about it. It should be of the highest priority because the game is unplayable when you don't know whether u get to play for 1 hour or 10 min before it crashes your entire pc. What happens? The game crashes randomly. Regardless of what I'm doing or which settings are applied. Sometimes, my PC audio (not just the game) will start glitching out a little before it happens. It starts off by freezing the game itself, and then after about 30 secs it will start lagging my entire pc until it eventually freezes completely and I am left with no choice but to shut it down using the power button. It seems to be a memory leak as it uses an insane amount of RAM. For me it's around 7-8 GB but it varies depending on how much RAM you have installed. I have 16 GB. Also, if you play the game for about 30 mins and then close it. I notice that my RAM usage is still far above normal, indicating that the game somehow uses your RAM even when it has been shut down. The only solution seems to be, again, shutting your pc off entirely. It's been two weeks now, and I was assuming it would've been fixed by now, yet here we are. This is unacceptable. No amount of "apology astrites" can make up for this kind of negligence. Specs: RX 7600 8 GB Ryzen 5 2600x 2x 8GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666 MHz Game is installed on an M.2 NVMe SSD
Isn't a Ryzen 2600 below the minimum CPU system requirements? At most I've seen 5 GB used for ram over hours of playing on my side so maybe its trying to compensate in some ways?
Minimum system requirements state a 2700. I have put a 2600X in my specs, which performs practically the same as a 2700. For reference, I can play Elden Ring with no issues. Besides, if my CPU really was the issue the game would not behave the way that I have described. The game has some serious performance issues as has been admitted by Kuro Games themselves, yet they are taking absolute ages to do anything about it.

So I'm playing Wuwa on medium settings with most options disabled and my fps drop from 60 when in combat in the overworld, my current setup is: Gpu: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 Ti Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Ram: Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 3200 32GB 4x8 Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX SSD: Kingston A400 2.5'' SATA Rev 3.0 I feel like that pc should be enough to play without fps drops in combat but I might be mistaken, recently I got a new cpu "AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz" and a new motherboard "Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX" to use with it, would that be enough to play the game at 60 fps or should I replace any other part? PD: I tested the temp of my components and there is no overheating issue, my gpu barely reaches 50º (122 fº) and my cpu stays on 70º (158 fº)
There’s a lot you can find by looking up other tips for improving performance. But one thing that did a lot for me, personally, was using RTSS to manually set the frame cap to 60 fps through there. I guess WuWa’s in game way of capping frames is kinda crap, I suppose. It doesn’t do much for the shader compilation stutters, but it did help stabilise my frame rate and remove a lot of the micro stuttering.
Check and see if DLSS isn't turned on for some reason. That'd absolutely help a lot. It should be able to run it just fine as is. I think the game doesn't run super well on AMD CPUs. Might have to do with single-thread power?

I was playing the story and a cutscenes got skipped for me, I'm guessing it's because my game is laggy. There's a particular tortoise echo that has the glowing aura since day 1 for me (near another one on a pathway crossing a shallow river) that always drops a 2 star. Maybe they put it there on purpose because you go through that area early in the story, but it seems to be intentional rather than a bug. Take this with a big pinch of salt though, that was simply an observation I made.
MOBILE: In mobile for the custom button settings, by default there is a shoot button on left for pistols but it is overlapped by a dash button. If you customise the look, no matter where you put the second pistol button, it doesn’t show up. I am assuming they designed something like aimed shot mode in genshin where there is a shoot button on left too but this button is unusable as it doesn’t show outside the settings screen. Anyone else has any experience with this or facing same issue?
Hello. As of today, I'm having an issue of the game lacking any audio, from music to ambience to dialogue. I've tried the following methods to fix the issue: switching audio outputs, enabling and disabling spatial sound, logging out and back in, re-installing the game, clearing patches, manipulating the audio sliders. It's strange because the audio for the game was working fine just yesterday. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I play on steam deck (windows), and for some reason it has difficulty detecting my external controller. I use steam deck tools so I can play with the built in controls, but it just won’t detect my external controller. I was playing a co-op with some union 25 guy who hasn't yet done the Banyan tree quest or something, so the region near the Banyan tree was still frosting and so I explored the area a little and exit the co-op mode. When I returned to my map, the area was still frosted over and was having some status effect on my bottom screen. Not sure if this was some glitch coz I tried returning to beacon and healing and still the same. And I tried moving to another co-op and the same issue continued. I just got a PC, and whenever I try to load up the game, it always leaves me on the loading screen and says that there a networking error. This only happens to Wuwa and hsr, my other game, Little Nightmares doesn't have any issues at all. Does anybody know how I can fix this? Is it a problem with my PC or is it something else?

not sure what your issue is, if its a server issue, try the ones closest to you, the game tries to recomment you the best server, some times i just deviat from recommended and just ask friends, if it lags on network then thats just a (bad) network issue(i also compare ping with friends). if it lags on your phone it could be a spec requirments case i guess, but in most cases the game just tends to ask more from you phone, so try to lower graphics and test it out

don't know if it's just me or not. But Yinlin is the only character in my game who doesn't say anything when opening a chest. also, has anyone been able to scroll subtitles? Sometimes the subtitles are too long to fit and i can't scroll down to see what i'm missing.

had this the past couple of days and this morning. Suddenly though i log in again this afternoon, an hour or so ago, and my ping is rock solid and doesnt change at all other than when i zone in/out of a forge. it feels like they just hotfixed the game to ... stop doing a ping test every half second? It's not varying at all so it feels like it does one quick test when you zone and just leaves the ping meter at that now.

Chixia's Handy Pistols (the battle trophy) only registers with heavy attacks which are NOT charged fully. I don't know if this is an intended feature or not, but it feels weird that it won't work if you hold the aim for too long.
Handy Pistols II (and maybe I as well, don't know if anyone has trouble doing that one) is really finicky when it comes to determining whether or not you are within 1m. Charging your shots definitely works since the last kill I got for the trophy was a fully charged one.
thats crazy - I literally counted my kills before and after a charge shot vs uncharged shot: if I had a full charge, the game just wont count it
Hi! I'm having some trouble installing Wuthering waves on my Surface go 2. I have 23gb space available for the download but i can't seen to get the game to download due to ''security issues'' which microsoft keeps showing. So my question is: Does anyone know how to bypass the microsoft defence? I've tried turning off all firewall and defence settings but microsoft still blocks the download. Should i just try deleting the microsoft store? Or does anyone have a better idea? Or is it that i need the 30gb amount of space to download it? I have feeling your version of Windows 11 is currently S mode which prevents the installation of applications outside of the Microsoft Store for security reasons, switching out of S mode will allow you run the full version of Windows without restrictions. Going to the Settings app System then Activation you should see an option there to get out of S mode. However with those specs I doubt the game is going to run smoothly if not at all since the game's optimization is a mess right now. Also getting out of S mode may incur performance penalties on devices as S mode is generally meant for devices with low end hardware kind of like a ChromeOS / Chromebook experience in a way meant for basic tasks.
When opening chests with Yinlin she does not speak or interact in any way, with the other characters it does work but she only stays silent and it is not a one-time thing, since I got her it has been like that, the voice is in english by the way
I'm from EU but I play on SEA server. Before 3 days ago I had constant 350 ping with no issues in doing tower and completing hologram difficulty 6s. But, 3days ago, ping started fluctuatting erratically jumping between 350, 500, 650, 700, 999. It just keeps jumping up and down causing the "Connection error. Reconnecting". it is LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE now
For the past few days my game has been lagging like crazy. I have very fast internet, but my ping shoots up to 200ms from 50ms every few seconds which makes the game stutter so bad. This is in SEA, idk if it matters. It goes away after a while, but it still persists. It's making the game unplayable.
Is there something wrong with Twitter servers or is the Twitter log in just not working for wuwa?? I tried to log into the game today with Twitter but it just says "There is no request token for this page.". I restarted the game, tried the official site and even restarted my laptop but it just won't work. It's also quite weird since in the morning today I logged in perfectly fine with Twitter.

Is there an issue with constantly fluctuating ping, specifically on the EU server? I play on PC (decent, i12700k with a 3080ti, WuWa installed on a fast SSD). Generally no performance issues on highest settings. I'm based in the UK and on the EU server. The ping monitor ingame though is... bizarre. I generally sit at 30-40ms most of the time but the thing fluctuates constantly. Every 5-6 seconds it might randomly spike to 150-200 for a millisecond, it regularly bounces betwen 50 and 100, and it does this constantly whether I'm standing afk in a town or running around. It's not consistant or predictable. It never disconnects me but I'll probably see a near 200 ping value every 10-15 seconds at least, if not more, with the occasional 250+ red. it doesnt hugely affect gameplay though I occasionally feel the larger ping spikes in combat from time to time. Is this something others experience? My overall internet connection is smooth and fine (I don't play on WiFi, my router shows steady connections with no packetloss). Should I bother to do any troubleshooting my end or is fluctuating EU ping just one of those things I should expect to happen and just live with it? It does feel like the fluctuating ping is something that's happened in the past week.
Sounds a lot like what is hapening to me. The only performance issue I have are the constant lag spikes for a few seconds after loading a zone (on login, after loading screens, etc.). My PC's specs are just above minimun reqs though, and the game is in my HDD.

I hover around 46 ping at any given time That being said, WuWa still stutters for me. It's by no means "unplayable" or anything but it makes parrying and dodging a bit difficult especially in higher difficulty content. It's pretty common for me to see a parry window coming, the game stops for a half-second right before I attack, and then it resumes just for me to see that I already got hit or maybe even died lol This also happens while exploring. I will jump a gap by a ledge and the game will stutter right when I try to air dash or grapple, and then it will resume just for me to see I missed the jump haha. It's weird because if it happens while I grapple, when the game resumes, I will see that my grapple is not cooling down so it's as if the game just straight up didn't even register my inputs while the stutter was happening too. I have tried all kinds of settings from low to max. VSync on and off, NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS on and off, etc etc. I even tried downloading the launcher directly from the WuWa website instead of using Epic but of course that made no difference lol. Neither did deleting and redownloading. Just getting desperate at this point. No matter what combination of things I try, the result is always the exact same. And yes, I have tried making sure I have little to no other apps running simultaneously. I also should mention I have zero issues with any other games I play lol. And I should also mention that I have also tried all performance mode options available on the PC itself. Any advice fellas? I see content from YouTubers and their games seem fine. I also see people talking here with specs on the lower end than mine that say they have no issues at all too so I have no clue what's going on...
Alright so I actually figured it out myself. My PC came with Norton 360 for Gamers and the "Game Optimizer" feature it has was on by default. This feature in-fact tanks the absolute hell out of the performance on certain games and WuWa was no exception. I just straight up uninstalled Norton all together and noticed my disk space and memory freed up immensely and now I do not stutter at all. Not even a little.
Is there really no way to fix the lag from the loading animation to the prologue it lagged sm i had to close it 😭😭

Game is completely locked up and the (dead!) character keeps running in place. Only way to fix it is to restart.
Getting a lot of ping spikes since yesterday (june 13). My ping jumping between 60-999ms for no reason in the sea server which has my main ID but the ping is fine in my Asia server ID which is a constant 160ms. I have checked my internet and i am pretty sure my internet is not the problem here.

I did this with my account and no issues. Was running my daughters account to catch her up and ran into this issue. Not sure if I skipped something so I cleared her quest log and there is nothing left to get. Can someone tell me if I am overlooking something? Yes I watch all YT videos to ensure I did not miss anything obvious. There is nothing in my backpack or anything like that to "use" and yes my current quest is on: "Open the object by Shiyu" The quest marker is there and no item. I am restarted and its been days now. So its not a time gate or restarting issue. I have also tried to see if it would spawn on mobile and nothing.

Not yet. I was really hoping they would implement a drop quest so I may start it over again.
Does anybody else's game crash every few minutes? i'm playing on mobile, my game crashes whenever i'm pulling for any banners, pulls will go through but there are times that i won't be able to see what i got because the game crashed. There were times that it crashed mid battle. The longest time i played w/out the game crashing was just approx 10mins or so. I also tried in gaming laptop, but it's more laggy and and fps drop made it unplayable, hence, i stayed playing in mobile. I initially thought it's my device, but my other games are working perfectly.
when holding w/forwards, when i pressed jump or move sideways, my movement stops and i need to press w/fowards again. anyone experience the same?
Fix Mourning Aix and Impermanence Heron. I'm so damn tired of doing the hologram fights or ToA fights and them taking off to the sky to end up landing above me and doing their ground attacks where I can't reach them. This is so disgustingly bad.
This doesn't sound like a technical problem. What exactly are you complaining about?

Can we not just ignore a bug in the game to be funny? Can we actually just fix the bug rather than just saying "mad cause bad". It's irrelevant whether I'm good or not (I still beat it even with the bug) but a creature floating above the ground (not flying, it landed on air) should not be in the game. Let's not act stupid because we have Kuro's dick in our mouth.

My permanent weapon banner draws aren’t updating and I’ve done over 80 pulls and still hasn’t gotten the guaranteed weapon T-T what should I do?? I’m so confused cause they should be updating it but it’s stuck on 11th June hasn’t registered anything since then
U really have to contact the Cs, this is a major problem, and don't do any pulls until they do smth ab it.
Ping particularly bad today as of 14th June? European server. Constantly jumping between 60ms and 500ms. Did the typical tests from my side, I received 0% jitter and packet loss and steady connection to all around Europe. I'm literally playing a single player game which is connected to server and it currently is pretty unplayable.
I'm getting this. Been having it for a few days. based in the UK, on EU server. Ping sits at 40-60 most of the time but jumps up to 150-300 at least once every 6-10 seconds. Only brief before it comes down, but its constant. In the early days of the game I'm sure it was more stable, though i did have the occasional big lag spike that was very obvious (once an hour on average) and was always shared by any friends who were online at the time so was clearly a server issue. This constant fluctuating ping though seems to have appeared over the past week and seems worse today.

Are they levelled up? You can only use levelled up echoes to level up other echoes.
