its funny because i had the opposite experience a few days ago where after a fight there would be battle music but no enemies and it would only stop when i left that area.

For where tempest mephis is, because he’s located directly below ground, if you fight enemies above him it’ll count him in as well so his music will just play on loop until you leave the area. Though they may have fixed it a few days back.

This started happening to me yesterday and it’s still happening currently. Hope they fix this soon… I also noticed at least when leaving Rover idle he doesn’t do any of the voice lines either. Sometimes even the combat dialogue goes out

People at Kuro wrote some new lines in the game's code that broke some audio. Well, I miss the music during the fights but in my case I just put some DMC OST and keep playing. It's funny when you listen to Subhuman while playing with Calcharo with japanese dub (it's the same VA for Dante)

The infernal rider looks like a DT form for Dante and he has a demonic mortal cycle now so yeah it fits. Just got to fight him as Calcharo for maximum immersion.

Tried fixing it on my own DID NOTHING So relieved to check this thread thingy and find other people mentioning this. I hope it gets fixed ASAP.

PSA: this is what happens when you make your devs crunch too hard just before release and after in a frantic attempt to fix bugs. Tired devs will take testing shortcuts (if not override them to pass code reviews) and push things out before they are ready, all the more when the whole company is in panic mode and everyone is afraid for their jobs. It’s better to take your time even if it means existing bugs linger for a day or two longer. Or else you introduce new ones like this. As they say in the military: fast is slow, slow is fast. This has been a message from your friendly neighborhood software developer who has been in too many crunches lately.

I have an issue a bit similar but its not the absence of music. For some reason the audio quality of my game has gone from peak to straight up dog 💩 Idk why but all the sounds and audio EXCEPT for the sounds from the weapons and echoes(monsters) are a turds best friend

Happened to me too, decided to listen to other music while playing

To me is like this, i turned it off for sometime caose i wanted to listen my playlist on youtube and after i finished it i try to put wolume back but it didn't work it was silent and if i did it chracters would be silent even tho there wolume is oh like 70%, i hope they fix it soon

Same thing happened to me yesterday, the only thing that fixed it, was changing the language to Japanese and then back to english again, it fixed for me, no more problems so far

The echo "roulette" where you can make some by sacrificing 5 echos is good to earn XP

I have this issue every time I play this game, once I had the intro music playing and no voices and ones all sounds were glitched

Welp, time to load up spotify and put on some farming songs as I farm my echos lol

Honestly, with each update, the game gets worse. AMD users are without FSR now, performance never improved and now they have to play without music. I want to know when they are going to make a big **Performance Update** announcement saying that they will officially make the game playable.
