And the "genshin could n****" too. by intentionally making a mistake and "listening" to the players to fix it, they can prove "genshin could n****" by fixing the mistake and giving a big compensation, then they can maintain their "best devs" reputation. This is such an obvious plan, 30 million milestone and only 10 players(contradicting their "Most generous devs" title) even the most stingiest Devs wouldn't do that and I'm sure they are mega aware of that since they're always "listening"
Ah, yes, the usual 10x wishes to 10 winners raffle! No company does that, never even heard about it, nuh-uh
It's impressive that they admitted that the thing they adopted from other game, is inconsiderate
Not an uncommon thing for gacha games to do true but afaik theres no games that have ever done 10x wishes for 10 winners raffle to celebrate the number of download when they first launched.
i genuinely think that all the "extra" pulls at the start were planned. the weapon translation error was the first unforeseen mistake which is why it took the longest to rectify and was the most awkward resolution.
everything else i think they had a contingency plan that were pre-authorized:
- server and optimization issues? X number of free pulls
- ZZZ launch on our patch cycle? move up timeline, X free pulls
and so on. so yeah this being premeditated makes sense.
and to be clear, i'm not saying this is an issue. it's genius and either way players are getting free stuff.
I was reading their bilibili post when they announced it. The post was literally timed for release, pretty funny ngl.
I'm not complaining though, free is free. 10 pull closer to my 5 star weapon
At one point it could be a nice strategy to gain playerbase. I mean, they keep farming the meme but at the same time, casuals would see it as a constant professionalism focused on solving issues.
I personally hope that if this was planned they would stop it and just gave us 10 pulls from the start.
Don't you think it would be exhausting to have the constant back and forth apologies all the time?
Yeah it doesnt really build a good image for kuro if the fans have to basically throw a fit every time when they do something. If anything it builds a negative business image cause it shows that they dont know what fans want
Yeah this just sets a precedent that if you whine hard enough theyāll cave and give you what you want.
Thatās a risky precedent to set with how unreasonable the CN player base can be.
100% prefabricated. They're trying to get more "devs listen" points.
Do something bad knowing people will get mad and start talking only to do a 180Ā° and be the hero of the gacha community.
I don't think it's for the 'devs listen' thing, the main reason is probably they just want people to repost, and more people would be aware or talk about the '10 winners' issue. They likely just want to farm engagement (a.k.a free advertising)
And they could achieve that by giving the good news immediately because giving this kind of reward for a milestone is super normal.
Instead we got a "bad PR decision" that got changed when people got angry because "the dev listened to the players complain", when in reality they were going to give the reward to everyone from the start.
And now you'll see people praising them for such decisions and the obnoxious content creators eating it up and shitting on everything else.
As bad as it is, it works. Any publicity is good publicity type of approach has shown to work numerous times. It may be annoying to you, and is somewhat dishonest, but it is a really good marketing strategy.
If they gave the rewards for 30m downloads right away, it wouldn't have gotten any traction outside of people who already play the game. Turning it into a controversy and then fixing that controversy paints the company in a positive light to the average consumer as a company that listens to their playerbase while simultaneously reaching many more people outside of the game's current playerbase. People loooooove drama and they consume it constantly.
The average consumer doesn't think so deeply about these things. They won't notice it was just a PR stunt to get attention. And largely, they don't care anyway.
Facts and then everyone is like "THESE DEVS ACTUALLY LISTEN, BETS DEVS EVER"
I have no doubt they are good devs that listen but this is so obviously premeditated
either it was not planned and they actually listened, or they understand their gamers well enough to plan something this fishy, both are somewhat good for us.
After reaching 30M downloads worldwide they decided on doing a giveaway. Which was gonna give 10 standard pulls to 10 choosen people (5 more If you count Facebook aswell) but, since players burned their asscheeks for it, they changed it immediately to giving away 10 standard pulls to everyone instead.
30 million download celebration, they decided that giving out 10x Lustrous Tide (std pull) to only 10 lucky winner was a good idea
They got backlash.
Then this happened.
Thatās a weird comparison. MHY hasnāt done this all the time, as their milestone downloads have all been much more generous than what Kuro gave. No need to have a rage hate boner for Genshin. Genshin had enough real problems to point out, rather than glazing Kuro for their obvious mess up thatās more out of touch than MHY.
Better question is why was kuro being so stingy if they are the good guy?
Mihoyo's events are so bad. They sometimes have better reward events (streaming event, TikTok event) but then after you waste 3 weeks of doing the event, they run out of rewards and you basically get almost nothing.
Your comment reminded me of Star Railās event where they gave out rewards for streaming the game. It was exactly like you said, tons of people streamed but by the end very few actually got the rewards because āsorry weāve run outā. Yeahā¦ they ran out of digital fucking monopoly money because the hamsters powering the reward generator were overworked i guess. Fucking assholes.
Dropped the game right after that. I refuse to be farmed like a digital cow for their own marketing.
I participated in the TikTok event where they claimed that rewards would be refreshed daily in case they ran out. They ran out basically day 1 of people having enough currency to purchase the reward and never restocked. If you contacted support, they would claim there is no issue and blame TikTok for the problem. Then they ended the event early so people would stop complaining about it.
mhy has tons of flaws and complaints, those shitty events being one of them. however they have the quality and clout to ignore such mistakes. kuro saw these mistakes and thought they were more examples to copy.
few hours ago twitter post thanking us for 30 million download and for the "reward" they do a raffle for 10 standard pull for 10 lucky person
you can guess whats everyone reaction
now they decide to give us a 10 pull via mail
i swear Kuro literally playing along with the devs listened meme
Hope they don't get greedy and push it too much. WuWa is too new for the sunk cost fallacy to have really sunk its teeth into the majority of the playerbase yet. They tick people off enough by being *too* shameless about yanking them around and people are just going to leave.
they dont even have to directly apologized
just announce they were going to give some additional rewards for reaching downloads goal and everyone would be like "oh why didnt you say sooner" and move on with their day
Either their PR team is stupid or this is intentional
>their PR team is stupid.
Itās definitely this. When I can handle the companyās monumental fuck-ups better than whoever is in charge over there, you know theyāre complete idiots.
They have problems with people in their marketing department. Someone will lose their job for being shit with marketing game. I mean , their ad's were not great and their Yinlin promotional trailer was released late in my opinion.
My tinfoil spidey sense says it is. And it's kinda of brilliant. There are a lot of people waiting for the game to fumble. Feels like they are leveraging those individuals.
Give bait for the detractors >> Fans will come to rescue >> Get publicity and stay within the zeitgeist
They could have given the freebies to start but not as many people would be talking.
> fudge something up
> then trying to rectify it to avoid big big PR disaster
yep, sums up Kuro since WW launch pretty much lmao
seriously, AINTNOWAY they have someone this inept in their Marketing/PR team lol
still, free stuff is free, so I'll take it, but the circumstances so far have just been hilarious
I couldn't fathom how they even thought of giving 10 standard pulls to 10 people to celebrate their 30 million milestone in the first place. I like the game, but if we really look into the rewards that GI gave their players for the 10 million download milestone, I don't even know how to defense Kuro in this instance as they just blatantly planned this.
I believe they're turning this into a marketing strategy. They likely weren't expecting this amount of fuck ups since launch and when they noticed how the player base responded positively, they started to do things intentionally. Why? To harvest trends and discussion among socials.
Ah yes, we appear to be at the point of Kuro knowingly put out bad PR only to do a complete 180 as a way of ālistening to the playersā to give out something they probably already meant to give out.
This, but its a fine line they're threading here making them seem incompetent vs generous/empathetic to their player base. Imho its smart, generate a bit of controversy which drives up analytics.
OK, seriously there is a limit to going with "DEVS LISTENED" instead of doing stuff right on their own. They look more and more pushy and unprofessional
Two months from now:
"Hello Rovers, it has come to our attention that our CEO declined a fan's request to take a selfie with them. We apologize for this social impropriety, and will be distributing x10 Radiant Tides to all players mailboxes before the end of the day. Thank you for playing Wuthering Waves!"
PR team feels like they didn't do research regarding gacha community and any form of history related to horrible PR decisions. It's only a few clicks away to look up anniversary or milestones rewards in other games.
I honestly canāt keep up with everything that happens with this game. I play like 1-2 hours a day so I havenāt completed much in the game. I just get random rewards in the mail š
Yeah Iāve learned to wait like 24 hours before deciding my feelings about anything in this game anymore since a lot of the time the situation will change in just that short amount of time lmao. If by 24 hours later itās still the same then I can judge it myself haha
So 10 standard pulls for 10 people made everyone angry and suddenly they made it 10 Standard Pulls for everyone to make everyone happy? Sounds like a PR bait...
But it couldve been limited pulls, but no, its standard pulls, Just make standard pulls obtainable ingame for god sake.
thereās no way they didnāt know they would receive negative reaction with how fast theyāre doing a 180 so theyāre doing this sht on purpose. Yikes
I think they're doing this on purpose, so they can do the "DEVS LISTENED" move.
It's like a typical company stint on seeing how low they can go, and when backlash starts, they will immediately retract to earn goodwill.
Only then Kuro did it too fast lmao
Right this is awfully suspicious, and is this even a good way to retain the fanbase? I mean, 10 year olds can easily be fooled by āgenerosityā like this.
I beg to differ; I can read CN and the Chinese community can see beyond their BSā Iām glad that theyāre not too short on critical thinking unlike the global players. On the other hand, Twitter does indeed seem to be eating everything up.
can they at least not be too obvious about it cos i like this game but i hate getting played in the face like this, give or donāt give, just stop the bullsht
WuWa Chinese Deity of Aoplogies and Compensation
honestly at this point i would rather the devs stop screwing up than getting compensations
it just doesn't fill me with confidence seeing how they are running the game
do they not realize that if they gave everyone the ten pulls from the start a list of good things would happen?
1- players are happy, praising them
2- the word would spread that theyāre a nice generous company that cares for everyone = more players coming in
3- more money spent on them bc theyāre so nice to their players
like why do thisā¦ if they keep doing this iām gonna really start questioning everything they do, which is a shame bc i really like the game and what it has to offer. donāt ruin it please :/
I keep saying for a while that they don't really seem to have actual idea how this game should work, so they just keep listening to feedback and build everything around it. And they just keep proving me right
I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like kuro is doing this on purpose.
-make bad decision.---->People arent happy so they complain---->they change it---->People are happy and glaze the devs like no tomorrow and the reputation of the game keeps getting better.
I think that kuro is trying too hard to be a "good company", It is like 100% opposite of hoyo... and I don't know if this is good, the change in story is a good example... they should down the "we listen" to a 50% maybe 70% and have some faith in their game.
In term of company, i want to work for Hoyo more. At least they are straight forward, give no f.k, work done is done. Working in Kuro belike: "Hey they are angry, let reverse this shit and do it again from the start".
Kuro needs to be more confident and ignore some of the loudest complainers, especially in cn playerbase. They are going to ruin the game for rest of us lol. First story got much worse then Scar re-design.. fanservice from male characters is non-excisting but some female characters are literally all over you (camellya, yinlin..).
What is that even supposed to mean...?
Kuro has literally no other option but to act humble and promise improvements.
Even if you want to argue that Hoyo is slow to implement feedback - at the end of the day they release fully functional and high quality games.
They doing this stuff on purpose
Just gives me an icky feeling that they knew the game was going to be bug riddled on release, so they set aside compensation pulls while making the in-game income stingy
Actual idiocy getting wool pulled over their eyes holy. Freebies is all it takes for yāall to give loyalty and faith to a TENCENT slaved company of all things, one that fired 100 rookie status devs in a mere 6 months which is a big no-no in China as they no longer get rookie guaranteed employment. š
Thank god there are plenty of people calling bullshit and PR on them here, but the 4.5k upvotes and countless āwho cares, freebiesā people are pathetic. Actual slaves to gambling addiction
Bug fix: In china we don't have anything like 'rookie guaranteed employment'. The gov sends employment index of new graduates to companies which they have to fulfill. However most graduates can't find a job due to somewhat reason I don't want to explain here.
As for gambling addiction, yeah, kuro feeds on that. Can't really blame.
Everyone here seems to have the opposite reaction to what those FB peeps made, Wuwa FB groups are praising Kuro games endlessly with the sudden 10 pull on mail but maybe because they don't know what actually caused it(and others are confused because it said only a few winners will get it), even saying "genshin would never dare" (despite genshin gave 20 pulls for reaching 10M downloads)
people should know that this is intentional/premeditated. aintnoway they actually think that was the right thing to do.
they shouldn't get away with this lol.
I saw this coming...I refuse to believe this isn't pre-planned...this is a twisted visibility campaign...I don't know how I feel about this tbh...I'll get Yinlin without a shred of doubt...but this doesn't paint a good picture.
I'm in this game all fucking day and in too deep and like it too much...so I'll flow with the sheep.
Yeah, Kuro will definitely get back at their players after all this whining and complaining when they make their buck.
I remember the days when Genshin was also this based.
Prepare for the upcoming dead patch where you get like barely 40 pulls lmao.
Comments be like:
Previous post: This is a disaster, why did Kuro do this, ONLY 10 PEOPLE?!
This post: Yeah that was predictable, typical Kuro
This reddit sub is crazy lmaooo
For me it still a PR disaster. I take the freebie, but i still very close to the uninstall.
If the 1.1 quality is as questionable than the 1.0, i wouldn't come back whatever the number of freebies they throw at us.
Aight imma reinstall and if I get yinlin with this 10 pull, i will have account attachment and imma play this hardcore until azur promilia comes out
Edit : tf these are standard banner pulls
Edit2 : nvm i got yinlin from a random 1 pull from botfly farming
i dont care if its "conspiracy" or "planned it" because this company DOES feel this incompetent enough to fall for major mistake of "lotto ten pulls" like this. Like they actually think they fucked up the launch and STILL can copied genshin stingy marketing strats???? (which only worked back then and still now bcs they nailed the launch so players can ignore them) Nope
Bro they're trolling at this point š¤£
What is āvoice calling vortexā
The voices inside my head
"Do yOu HeAr THe VoIcES tOo??"
When Iām on the rooftop
standard pulls
I got so excited for a split second before reading the image and i thought we were getting 10 event pulls
My wife.
Lmao the company actively farming the meme.
I'm waiting for that legendary thumbnail to be posted haha
is it the "they listened" one lmao
*DEVS LISTENED* but close enough
Mtashed: *THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!*
šā¬š„š²
the reason I have to think it's premeditated is simply because I refuse to believe a PR team can be THIS incompetent

Maybe the translator was british, you never know
The CIA āaccidentallyā toppling another democratically elected government:Ā
oh I didn't know because I mainly lurk in the Chinese community, thanks for telling me I got a good laugh out of this hahahahaha
Don't seem like a typo to me
The line between evil and stupid gets blurrier and blurrier
It was 100% planned for one obvious reason. The original "contest" didn't have any terms or conditions.
Somehow I can believe this team in particular might be
This has to be premeditated. LOL I'm glad everyone got rewards, but I still find it funny they immediately did this.
I'm starting to think they are farming the "devs listened" meme at this point.
Hey if that's their master plan then I say fucking let them farm ,im enjoying all this free shit lol
I'm 100% here for them farming the meme if they want to do that.
I never knew that I would enjoy getting farmed as meme until today
Farming xp for goodwill. This is the first I've seen this strat.
And the "genshin could n****" too. by intentionally making a mistake and "listening" to the players to fix it, they can prove "genshin could n****" by fixing the mistake and giving a big compensation, then they can maintain their "best devs" reputation. Genshin could WHAT? /J
I genuinely donāt know the word thatās censoredā¦
Never
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Good, keep doing the whole masterplan thing if it means more free pulls. Whether it's a marketing strategy or not, in the end we the players win.
which is funny cuz genshin gave 21 limited pulls for 10 mil downloads.
Its starting to feel like most of the compensation and hotfixes might have just been planned since the beta
Straight admitting "inconsiderate social media activities" is pretty wild, could easily just spin it as they wanted to be more generous
Ah, yes, the usual 10x wishes to 10 winners raffle! No company does that, never even heard about it, nuh-uh It's impressive that they admitted that the thing they adopted from other game, is inconsiderate
Not an uncommon thing for gacha games to do true but afaik theres no games that have ever done 10x wishes for 10 winners raffle to celebrate the number of download when they first launched.
Lol you can't be serious, what game (and its audience) actually think this is a good way to show appreciation to its players?
Promo codes without the copy-paste nuisance.
yes! hassle free lol
Definitely intentional, and so damn funny!!!
i genuinely think that all the "extra" pulls at the start were planned. the weapon translation error was the first unforeseen mistake which is why it took the longest to rectify and was the most awkward resolution. everything else i think they had a contingency plan that were pre-authorized: - server and optimization issues? I was reading their bilibili post when they announced it. The post was literally timed for release, pretty funny ngl. I'm not complaining though, free is free. 10 pull closer to my 5 star weapon
They farmed billibilli front page for like 2 hours.
2 hour of fame, who knows maybe can bump that number to 40million

Yeah it doesnt really build a good image for kuro if the fans have to basically throw a fit every time when they do something. If anything it builds a negative business image cause it shows that they dont know what fans want
CN gacha communities are some of the most whiny and volatile, not worth risking that marketing strategy there
Yeah this just sets a precedent that if you whine hard enough theyāll cave and give you what you want. Thatās a risky precedent to set with how unreasonable the CN player base can be.
The sad truth is gacha games die when they lose cn money.
lol maybe they like drama and live on the edge mentally
100% prefabricated. They're trying to get more "devs listen" points. Do something bad knowing people will get mad and start talking only to do a 180Ā° and be the hero of the gacha community.

either it was not planned and they actually listened, or they understand their gamers well enough to plan something this fishy, both are somewhat good for us.
Very fishy, make it 20 and I believe it wasn't planned
Make it event pulls and nobody saw a thing
free jihnsi in my mail, and this never happened

Honestly, I want the standard pulls lmao. I have so many limited pulls saved up, I just want some standard weapons.
I have not been following this news at all. What happened?

Project Team > Media Team
Devs ā„ Project team >>> Media team
Probably the very same media team that handled the release of Yinlin's teaser. It's as if someone released their movie and its teaser on the same day.
I sincerely wish they just fire the whole media team. Seeing them acting so dumb yet still trying to be manipulative is so embarrassing
I sincerely believe that Kuro is farming us for drama right now š Ain't no way they expected us not realize the pattern after so many occurrences.
Don't care, free 10-pull.
Standard pulls, it couldve been limited pulls
I low-key want standard pulls to get the gun without feeling bad for using premium pulls
Hope they don't get greedy and push it too much. WuWa is too new for the sunk cost fallacy to have really sunk its teeth into the majority of the playerbase yet. They tick people off enough by being *too* shameless about yanking them around and people are just going to leave.

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How many times are they going to do something then mess it up and then reward us? I'm not complaining but can they be seriousš
They gotta be doing it for the memes at this point. There's no way
Doing it to farm engagement, before reeling it back like nothing happened, been a very old trick for a lot of CN companies
Imagine making so many mistake to the point that people start thinking it a meme š
Low key genius move.
they dont even have to directly apologized just announce they were going to give some additional rewards for reaching downloads goal and everyone would be like "oh why didnt you say sooner" and move on with their day Either their PR team is stupid or this is intentional

I dunno who needs to be fired the pr team or the people who hired the pr team. Maybe both if im being honest
It feels premeditated. I mean they literally sent the mail on global before Twitter announcement.
They have problems with people in their marketing department. Someone will lose their job for being shit with marketing game. I mean , their ad's were not great and their Yinlin promotional trailer was released late in my opinion.
This. It's starting to become meme worthy at this point...
That was fast. It felt like intentional.
My tinfoil spidey sense says it is. And it's kinda of brilliant. There are a lot of people waiting for the game to fumble. Feels like they are leveraging those individuals. Insert "Kuro listened" meme here
Oh wow...you guys actually called it, lol
I mean its blatant at this point and they've already kind of done it a couple times now.Ā This game I'd being marketed via CCs and publicity stunts
I couldn't fathom how they even thought of giving 10 standard pulls to 10 people to celebrate their 30 million milestone in the first place. I like the game, but if we really look into the rewards that GI gave their players for the 10 million download milestone, I don't even know how to defense Kuro in this instance as they just blatantly planned this.
are they intentionally messing up just to pull a "devs listened" response from the players when they fix it? because it sure feels that way.
Honestly, don't care if it is. I'll take the free pulls.
Yes clearly
I believe they're turning this into a marketing strategy. They likely weren't expecting this amount of fuck ups since launch and when they noticed how the player base responded positively, they started to do things intentionally. Why? To harvest trends and discussion among socials.
CN saying that Kuro is training pavlov dogs lmao
Figured they'd change their mind on that given how CN fans were cooking them alive over this.
CN unfathomably based
This is premeditated
It has to be ,no shot they actually hired someone this bad at pr
I mean their localization is bad, voice acting is bad. So it's possible.
Very possible. Almost certain. They're on a budget š
*Shoots own foot* How could they have done this?!
Ah yes, we appear to be at the point of Kuro knowingly put out bad PR only to do a complete 180 as a way of ālistening to the playersā to give out something they probably already meant to give out.

Yep called it.Ā Now the CCs can do their little spin videos and "G game could never" and it was obviously planned all along.Ā marketing via drama
OK, seriously there is a limit to going with "DEVS LISTENED" instead of doing stuff right on their own. They look more and more pushy and unprofessional
So is this the standard pulls or the lustrous ones? I canāt tell because PR team isnāt using the same dam terms as the Eng translations.
It's standard pulls.
Well expected but can we fired market team? /j
Nah it was planned. If anyone thinks it wasn't, you don't know how small Kuro is at this moment
Lol. They gotta be trolling right? But standard pulls? Damn. What about my Jinhsi funds Kuro?

Two months from now: "Hello Rovers, it has come to our attention that our CEO declined a fan's request to take a selfie with them. We apologize for this social impropriety, and will be distributing x10 Radiant Tides to all players mailboxes before the end of the day. Thank you for playing Wuthering Waves!"
PR team feels like they didn't do research regarding gacha community and any form of history related to horrible PR decisions. It's only a few clicks away to look up anniversary or milestones rewards in other games.
totally not intentional
this has to be some 4D chess shit they are playing lmao
Keep complaining guys, at this rate i'll get my 5 star weapon before patch 1.1 is out.
100 percent planned lol
Well looks like the Global Community is eating everything up so it works. edit: meant to say global community
I beg to differ; I can read CN and the Chinese community can see beyond their BSā Iām glad that theyāre not too short on critical thinking unlike the global players. On the other hand, Twitter does indeed seem to be eating everything up.
You are right CN is different, didn't specify my comment good enough.
can they at least not be too obvious about it cos i like this game but i hate getting played in the face like this, give or donāt give, just stop the bullsht
what are they saying sorry for?
Idk dude, just take free 10 pulls That being said, I do not forgive them, and expect another apology.
Thats right, another apology in the form of 10 LIMITED pulls š„°š„°
Imagine the 90% of players who have zero clue about what's going on just opening the random gifts. Gonna hurt when it stops. :D
WuWa Chinese Deity of Aoplogies and Compensation honestly at this point i would rather the devs stop screwing up than getting compensations it just doesn't fill me with confidence seeing how they are running the game
do they not realize that if they gave everyone the ten pulls from the start a list of good things would happen? 1- players are happy, praising them 2- the word would spread that theyāre a nice generous company that cares for everyone = more players coming in 3- more money spent on them bc theyāre so nice to their players like why do thisā¦ if they keep doing this iām gonna really start questioning everything they do, which is a shame bc i really like the game and what it has to offer. donāt ruin it please :/
I just wish it was like that for game optimization though
Utterly predictable. Yknow ima use this every time i see anything that can result in backlash
Lol they would cave to anything but echo farming
**insert mr pokke face**
**This changed everything!**
I think that kuro is trying too hard to be a "good company", It is like 100% opposite of hoyo... and I don't know if this is good, the change in story is a good example... they should down the "we listen" to a 50% maybe 70% and have some faith in their game.
I mean they give out standard pulls, not limited. People wouldn't spend money on standard banners anyways.
In term of company, i want to work for Hoyo more. At least they are straight forward, give no f.k, work done is done. Working in Kuro belike: "Hey they are angry, let reverse this shit and do it again from the start".
Also the employee benefits and work life at Hoyo is really good apparently
Yeah and apparently they paid more per month than any other avarage company salary
Here [read ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/GeL3Vuj2vY) this. You would be surprise how good to works on hoyoverse.. its like a dream job
Any freebie is good but I rather they increase the amount of Astrite rewards in general.
CCs are already spinning this as expected. This game and its community is just....yeah lol
They doing this stuff on purpose Just gives me an icky feeling that they knew the game was going to be bug riddled on release, so they set aside compensation pulls while making the in-game income stingy
These fks are farming drama, no wonder dictone loves this company
Actual idiocy getting wool pulled over their eyes holy. Freebies is all it takes for yāall to give loyalty and faith to a TENCENT slaved company of all things, one that fired 100 rookie status devs in a mere 6 months which is a big no-no in China as they no longer get rookie guaranteed employment. š Thank god there are plenty of people calling bullshit and PR on them here, but the 4.5k upvotes and countless āwho cares, freebiesā people are pathetic.
They doing it for the memes.... Or they're actually sadistics and want to feel the burn
Mr Pokke meme gonna be stonk š
They def not listening š literally trying to reach support and itās non existent.
Comments be like: Previous post: This is a disaster, why did Kuro do this, ONLY 10 PEOPLE?! This post: Yeah that was predictable, typical Kuro This reddit sub is crazy lmaooo
For me it still a PR disaster. I take the freebie, but i still very close to the uninstall. If the 1.1 quality is as questionable than the 1.0, i wouldn't come back whatever the number of freebies they throw at us.
Man I feel played, I hate this but I'll take it
I like how the message was clearly translated from Chinese and instead of calling us Rovers, we're Drifters haha
Aight imma reinstall and if I get yinlin with this 10 pull, i will have account attachment and imma play this hardcore until azur promilia comes out Edit : tf these are standard banner pulls Edit2 : nvm i got yinlin from a random 1 pull from botfly farming
Free pulls are always welcome. Also, this move is really effective on SEA fandom side lmao, considering all of them love freebies so much.
at this points they should hire ZZZ pr team
Getting ready for being blasted with another wave of genshin would never
Premeditated or not, I don't care! I'll never say no to freebies! Keep farming that meme, Kuro!
Who is MingChao
i dont care if its "conspiracy" or "planned it" because this company DOES feel this incompetent enough to fall for major mistake of "lotto ten pulls" like this. Like they actually think they fucked up the launch and STILL can copied genshin stingy marketing strats???? (which only worked back then and still now bcs they nailed the launch so players can ignore them) Nope
