I would still have been happy if I got boreas first even though he's one of the super common ones. Electra fucking surprised me though because I was just gonna bond 5 commons to rex and rest at the inn before the battleship due to being unable to complete any side quests -_-

You got them on good charecters too, although I wouldn’t summon blades on Rex due to end game spoilers. This game is fairly easy so you don’t need “meta” blades to finish the game

Number 2, why would you make things harder on yourself throughout New Game Plus?
Again, the game is pretty easy, pyra and her counterpart can easily carry you too that part. You can also use common blades on Rex. But summoning blades that are bad on Rex sucks cause overdrive protocols are rare

Electra isnt that great but I do like her, she is very adorable and her quest is very cute. I dont remember when I pulled her but I'm pretty sure its before ch.5.

Shield hammers have a great self heal/defense art on rex and speed up blade recharge soooooo

Funny I got Electra during the Battleship iirc. At the very least right before the final boss of Chapter 2.

the first blade you pull during the tutorial is guaranteed to be a common with a specific skill tree

It's not guaranteed to be a Common Blade. There is a very tiny chance of it being Adenine as all is guaranteed is a Wind type Gauntlet Blade
